Was in the shop for 20 minutes and not a single barber waved said hey or anything. If it wasn't for the kid waiting for his turn would I have known there was a sign in sheet. The gentleman next to me got upset because he watched people walk in and fill the chairs as they emptied. He asked a barber what was up that he'd been waiting. The barber explained this guy has an appointment. Unfortunately as a customer you'd never know since nobody would acknowledge people waiting. After sitting there for 20 minutes I just scratched off my name and left. Big surprise nobody said a thing to me. lol I won't be back. They obviously don't need any new business.

Before moving, he usually went to a local barber or Great Clips. I had taken my brother to the Boardroom Salon at the Alliance location a couple of times a few years ago, and he had a great experience, so I thought it would be a nice surprise to book my husband the Benchmark Haircut since we moved back to the area. I chose the premium service over the Express Cut because I wanted him to have a moment to relax and unwind. The Benchmark Haircut is advertised as a high-end service designed to leave you feeling refreshed and pampered, but his experience was anything but that. From the moment he walked in, the atmosphere was chaotic. The two stylists spent most of the appointment chatting loudly across the room, barely paying attention to my husband or engaging with him about his haircut. Kids were running around unsupervised, one screaming the entire time, and the whole place just felt disorganized and unprofessional. Since this was a surprise and my husband had never been to this salon before, he had no idea what to expect, and the stylist was so focused on her conversation with the other stylist that she couldn't take the time to explain what was included in the service. Instead of the relaxing break I had hoped for, he walked out feeling frustrated and annoyed. For the price of a premium service, we expected way better. The whole experience felt rushed and impersonal, and no one seemed to care about the environment they were creating. My husband kept saying how awful the experience was and that he would never go back. Given the cost and the reputation of the Boardroom Salon, we left feeling really disappointed. Not only did my husband leave more stressed than when he arrived, but I also couldn't help but feel like I wasted money. I regret recommending a place that treated him so poorly and lacked the professionalism we expected. A salon of this caliber should have done a better job of providing a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The experience was frustrating from start to finish.

If I'm within 100 miles for Fort Worth, I'm there for a haircut, need it or not. She keeps it fun with live music and a great team of barbers. If you want someone who pays more attention to the details and is an artist versus A cookie cutter, definitely go see them. PS. That's not me in the Yelp badge, it's Jack Elam as Dr. Nikolas Van Helsing in Cannonball Run. Linda cuts my hair WAY better than that.
