2 employees chatting while 1 machine is utilized. Both rude and unhelpful.

Employees here are rude and don't seem like they want to be here. Having plenty of side conversations while people waited to be checked in. Standing there on their cellphones and conversing about pictures and what to eat for lunch. all while people are still waiting. Ultra rude people with attitude. If you don't like your job then leave. No one asked you to work here but have some repsect and be more pleasant when you're working. A smile goes a long way.

Preregister online then come on in with the acceptable methods of verification to enroll. Good for 5 years, and $85 in 2015. Takes up to 45 days to receive confirmation, online may be faster. Service was great, I made an appointment online, walk ins are by arrival. Each appointment lasts about 5 mins. so all moves pretty smoothly on the front end. Trickiest part is getting here; head to terminal G, the international terminal and look for the Starbucks. Then find their sign.

Long wait

Amazingly unprofessional and slow service. Completely contrary to the "Enroll here today" optimism of the advertising

There's public street metered parking everywhere and easy walking distance to parking lots and garages in back. It doesn't look huge from outside either, but landscape is noticeably well maintained and pleasant to walk by. There are lots of children playing at a playground nearby. Feng shui feels good since it's easy to spot on the slope and you can look down at Grand Avenue shops & restaurants across the street. Water fountain doesn't look most appealing. There's plenty of space to hang around for a moment to capture the city views. There's plenty place is definitely for good looks on the outside, but quite convenient for city employees to go to lunch or take breaks around the area. Not ghetto, but note that most cars driving around here are always speeding even at corners and traffic lights. Just be careful in the public area. City drivers aren't the best drivers. It's easy to get hit on the streets in the city environment.

This includes the Grand Avenue public parking structure that we went in. I also discovered nice location to take a photo of Sign Hill which is that huge "South San Francisco The Industrial City" hillside letters visible when curing the US 101. This particular street is the Magnolia Avenue which crosses Grand. The have great restaurants that weve patronized over the years and will continue to visit as an alternative to the busy SF streets.

To me, it's not really a "gym", it feels more like a community center with solid fitness amenities:…read moreindoor/outdoor pool, track, studio rooms, basketball court (also used for volleyball and pickleball), and a weight room. Hence the name "Rec and Aquatic center". What I like: - indoor/outdoor pools have set times for lap/open swim - splash pad is great for kids, no deeper than 1 ft in the deepest part - Multi-use court for basketball, pickleball, volleyball - Weight room has machines for major muscle groups and dumbbells (up to 50lbs) - Friendly staff and clean facilities - Studio rooms with mirrors for classes/stretching - Indoor track is great for jogging and has space for bodyweight exercises What I tolerate: - Idk if this is their job or not, but lifeguards don't enforce swim lane speeds when it's busy - Track is best for light jogs, not sprints or trying to PR mile. The turns are not "sharp", but the faster you run the more effort you put in to slow down - Weight room is beginner-friendly but limited in equipment and weight, dumbbells only up to 50lbs so you can't really test your strength here. Overall, it's a solid community fitness center, not perfect, but great for staying active.

The lifeguards are very disappointing. They do not care about safety whatsoever and when incidents…read moreoccur, they do not take any action at all. I recently collided with an asshole who decided to ignore circle swimming etiquette, resulting in a sprained finger I later found out, and the lifeguard on duty did absolutely NOTHING. They did not try to stop the swimmer or blow the whistle to alert me, and they never even checked in on me or speak to the other swimmer after the incident. Furthermore, during recreation swims they seemingly do not care about basic safety rules. They allow small children in the deep end with lifejackets, and basically just stand around the entire time. I would not count on them to keep you very safe.

Twice now Officer C. Anisho has ticketed me back to back days, May 13th and 14th. The space between the street and the front of my bumper is exactly 2' (two feet), but yet i was ticketed for $50 twice. I've literally been parking in my own driveway with my truck for the past 3 years and only once before was i harassed. Not even the common courtesy to knock on my door when they could see me through the window that i was home. What an absolute joke that "code enforcement" such as this is a priority to the city of San Bruno, when why don't they focus on more impending issues? Like the homeless vagrants who live in Forest Lane Park or underneath the 380 overpass between my neighborhood and Tanforan. Or maybe even the transient trash that comes off of Bart and walks our neighborhoods and streets. Nope let's go around and harass our good citizens. I could completely understand if, indeed my truck was somehow impeding the public walkways, but literally 2' of clearance to walk in front of my truck while it's parked in my personal driveway is absurd. I'm happy to see my tax dollars at work. This is harassment and i will not stand for it!
