I have had great care here by the 2 PA and Dr Bryant. I have a herniation with impingement from a car accident and after months of horrible leg pain, I got the SI injection and Dr Bryant was great. I didn't feel the needles at all. read more

Been here twice. Both times over an hour and a half delay with no one even telling everyone waiting. 5 seconds to inform patients is all it would take. I'm not sure if it was just the Dr I was seeing but according to two others this is common practice. But they request you be 20 minutes early. When I inquired about the delay I was informed the Dr schedules his patients for every 5 minutes! And I could reschedule. Sounds like a huge scheduling issue. How about when you check in you are informed the Dr is running an hour and a half behind... this at least lets you know and if you want to reschedule you don't waste 2 hours. Love the physical therapy sessions and the people are so nice and friendly! Also Dr naurart is amazing and so is the staff! I never have to wait more than 5 minutes and either side. But man they never pick up the phone im always on hold forever it would take less time for me to walk in myself and im on crutches with a brace on 2 months post knee surgery. read more

I can never get a person over phone and if I do (after waiting a very long time), the staff is rude staff, appointment availability is far off, even if my situation is urgent. I will never go back. The doctors here! Stellar! Especially Dr. Newelwu! The front office staff however, extremely rude!! I have never met such an unprofessional set of people. The lady who sits in the front she looks Asian is rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. I had some confusion with insurance and she shrugged her shoulders and told me "guess we can't see you then" all the while it was a mess up on the office's part. Went back for my follow up visit and there was an older lady who walked in (barely could move) she was 30 minutes late to her appointment. Her husband was talking to the same front office staff member mentioned above who again was dismissive and rude to him. A lady whom I believe is the front office manager came out to talk to the elderly lady. She was about 1 notch away from yelling at her telling her she is doing her a favor because she is 30 minutes late to an appointment and aggressively telling her what she should have done if she was late. I understand that being late can set the whole day off, but this lady had to be in her 80's. I think the tone should have been more respectful. After this poor lady got yelled at and put down, my girlfriend helped her get to her seat. She was apologetic and kept saying how it was all her fault. She was in tears and sat and waited while she bawled. An orthopedic surgeons office deals with a lot of olde people whom should be treated with respect. I am in my 30's and have a little tougher skin. I was pissed about my situation, but what I witnessed happen to this sweet older lady had my blood boiling. That is someone's grandmother and mother. If it were mine, I probably would have had to be escorted out of that office that day. I think more training and a little more empathy could go a long way in this office. You are dealing with people in a lot of pain and some of the older generation. If you don't like the job you do, change your career path, but don't treat people lower than dirt! read more

I was experiencing lower back pain (due to my sciatic nerve) for months. Then within the last month, I developed right knee pain. I was losing sleep especially after work. I finally got fed up and sought help. Because heating packs, topical creams, and massagers were not working anymore. I received a steroid knee injection and for the FIRST time in over a year, I have slept and woke up pain free 2 consecutive days. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm in an Extreme amount of pain and these monsters at TSAOG in Shertz scheduled me in weeks ago to start treating me for my spinal stenosis saying they took my insurance. Then they have the nerve to call me today and told me that they looked closer and they don't take it which actually just means they looked and saw that it was a new Aetna HMO and a lower plan that they wouldn't get paid as much for and canceled my appointment and now I have to continue my search in pain almost a month later for another doctor just because of them being greedy. Disgusting example of greedy selfish doctors who care nothing about people in pain that need their services, but only care about money. Horrifying. read more

I have visited this Clinic several times now on assignment with my clients. The staff here are friendly. Each therapist I've had the pleasure to work with has been kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I've seen them treat several kinds of injuries including knee, shoulder, hand, and hip injuries. Their patients range in ages and it's always a pleasure to see how they are all treated with warmth and respect. They do mean business here, and will put you to work but all for long-term gain :-) I highly recommend the San Antonio Orthopedic group clinic here in Shertz and look forward to visiting them again. My wife had hand surgery two weeks ago and was schedule to see Dr. Cho on this date. While my wife was there a black man name LESTER came in and put some bandages in my wife hands and ask her to leave. While my wife was heading home she got a call from the doctors office and ask her to come back. She did told the nurse about the man that put the bandages in her hand his words were "YOU ARE GOOD TO GO". The nurse and the Doctor did apologize to my wife several times. But my wife says she did ask him twice if she was seeing the doctor and he said no "YOU ARE GOOD TO GO". But That's only the beginning..it gets better. while she was waling out two females were chatting about someone getting divorce. The black female clearly saw my wife standing there and just completely ignore her. Finally when my wife was waling out my wife says thank you and there was no respond from any of them (TWICE). This office has some very unprofessional people working that they are there to collect a pay check and not to have customer. PLEASE BE ADVISE THAT THIS COMMENTS DOES NOT REFLECT THE PATIENT CARE FROM ANY DOCTOR IN THAT FACILITY. No billing transparency at TSAOG, Schertz!! I went to Dr. Nira for a total of 3 visits for a frozen shoulder chiropractic visit. Each time I checked out, there was no bill to pay and I could not find out what the cost would be. For the first visit, I was charged a whopping $435, a 15-minute visit. They claim $262 for an office visit and $173 for the actual work Dr. Nira performed. I filled out all initial paperwork online and there was NO office visit. The next 2 visits were $173 each for 10-15 minute visits. This was all inside a 2 week window. Fortunately, I stopped going to any further visits and waited to see a bill. A few days later, $781. I called their billing department and they say the bill is correct. This is a true senior citizen rip-off!!! read more

I had the worst experience with this center. The doctor lied to me about reading my daughter's MRI. He was very conceding to us and he barely touched her knee, but he came up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. The office staff shredded my paperwork that I took with me from a previous doctor without asking if I needed it back. read more

I do not recommend. The doctors are shuffled from facility to facility with no home base which is hard for the older generation having to get treatment one day close, the next visit over an hour away. I had a great first surgeon, but a very bad experience with followup problems with another doctor there. Calls to different departments are seldom returned. If you want someone that understands your pain and lets you explain your situation without saying they only have 10 minutes, someone that will work with you, someone that does not talk over you & lets you explain, do not go there. I would gladly wait an hour to see a kind and compassionate doctor if needed. They tell you that they only have 10 minutes and some of us can not be helped with just 10 minutes. If you contact management to bump up the 3 week wait because you are in pain (management is very compassionate and empathetic), feathers get ruffled and you are judged by your doctor. I had to call and expedite my second procedure as had much pain and the doctor was very irate and berating because of this. Then, asking for pain relief for a few weeks until procedure was done (current med was not helping) was a major undertaking ... tried to make me feel like a drug addict, and I left. Today was my first time at TSAOG in Schertz. Everyone in the office was friendly and efficient. I saw Dr. Woodbury for burning pain in my thumbs. He was thorough in his evaluation, listed my options, and followed through with the decision we made together. He's the third doc I've seen for this issue and I'm thrilled to know that I've found the doc (and office) I want to keep working with! read more

I was seeing Dr Balldin on a referral from the VA. Got a couple steroid injections and it was determined that I needed surgery. This was in December 2020. I was told they would have to request additional authorization from the VA, which I understood. After a month of waiting, I called to follow up, but didn't receive a call back. I tried several times to get ahold of someone, but never got a call back. So I physically went there, but the team wasn't in the office that day (at another clinic). I asked when they would be there. Went back on that day and was told they're working on getting me scheduled. This was dragged on through the month of March. Found out that the doctor was no longer in network for the VA, which was effective on 1/1/21. While I understand there may have been delays in obtaining the authorization from the VA, they should have kept me informed. Instead they kept me in pain for three months and didn't tell me anything. I would not recommend this clinic for any treatment as they are more focused on the money as opposed to patient care. read more

Aaron and Monique-physical therapy department are fantastic. Post total knee replacement therapy is a challenge for sure. Aaron is an excellent therapist. He is incredibly professional and encouraging. He has pushed me to do better and yet is mindful of my limitations. He keeps me working. Monique is an encourager yet doesn't allow me to slack in my exercises. They are both a great team. Holistically, the entire TSAOG System works like clock work - from initial contact, through surgery and now physical therapy. They work together to help a person move the best for each individual. I wish I could give this place 0 stars but apparently that's not an option. The old blonde woman and the young Mexican woman at the front desk are horrible people and give you flares and get angry when you ask why there 15 minutes late to getting into your appt. I would understand being behind schedule. But no one deserves glares and ridicule and being made fun of just for asking. These people are terrible sad people who have pathetic lives and just want to take it out on the patients. I feel like I'm being roasted. They also messed up my foot when they were looking at it.
