Prior to shadowing him, I had heard that he was a brilliant doctor but it really wasn't until I started shadowing him that I got to know just how good he really is. This man oozes professionalism. His demeanor when dealing with customers is very welcoming, patient and comforting. I know that patients coming to see a doctor want to be treated with importance and be confident that they are really getting the best care. That is the feeling I got when I saw his patients interacting with him. I've seen him correct the mistakes other surgeons have made with his patients. I've seen him go head first and without hesitation clean the feet of an elder gentleman with advanced diabetes when he could have had one of his nurses do it for him. In the past, I have come across and heard of many doctors who look dissatisfied with their job and desensitized to the plight of their patients but Dr. Sayeed restored my faith in doctors and replenished my desire to enter the medical field. This man very clearly loves his job and he gave me the perfect example of how I need to deal with my patients once I start taking them. As dramatic as this sounds, I'm writing this now after just thinking about how my experience by his side has changed my views and life for the better. If you don't have him as your orthopedic surgeon, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Since that first…read morevisit Dr Sayeed has done joint replacement surgery on both my shoulders and both my knees due to severe bone on bone joint disease I am very happy that I chose to have Dr Sayeed do all of my surgeries. He is professional yet warm and explains things in a way that anyone can understand. He also shows you the X-rays and MRI's and explains to you what you are seeing and then discusses options with you. The surgeries were not without hiccups,they never are, but there was never any doubt in my mind that the outcome would be less than discussed. Dr Sayeed did not know until my first surgery that I was a retired nurse, it made no difference. I wish other doctors and their staff could take a page from his office standards and understand that it's not just the clinical part that needs to be excellent but the people interaction also makes a big difference in the healing process. I do not hesitate to refer people to Dr. Sayeed and have on several occasions (including my son). He is an excellent surgeon, doctor and person. I hope this information helps you.

He showed my the x-rays, which show extensive damage. The surgery center and staff were great. I had no fears or concerns go into my first surgery or my second. They had my up and walking before I went home. Dr Kaiser's office staff was on the ball about getting me all the meds I needed before my surgery and after when I would run out. I meet with his PA-C Michael LeDoux after the surgery's and got the all clear. I am now 8 months out on my left knee and 3 months out on my right knee. I did PT for my left knee and I am doing PT for my right knee know, almost finished. I feel a 100% better then every. I have gotten my quality of life back. I am able to do more and more every day. I wouldn't change anything about my surgery or recovery. I just don't know why I waited so long!

After initial exam, he provided 3 possible scenarios, 1 of which I anticipated. MRI confirmed portion of finger needed to be amputated and pathology confirmed osteomyelitis in portion removed. Surgery was done under a nerve block so no need for general anesthesia. Six stitches and a dressing later I was on my way home. Wound healed without issue. Dr Stein is very kind. He was very open and honest during initial exam. He asked lots of questions and answered the ones I had. He didn't push surgery but let's face it. If the problem existed for over a year , my physicians kept prescribing antibiotics and the finger had become misshapen, I knew surgery was the only option.
