Dave Norris was my contracting rep. He went through everything, in detail, right down to the ringed-shank nails to be used. Our contract detailed the materials to be used --it left out nothing-- and I double-checked exactly what was delivered to my home. I cannot say enough good things about Dave Norris's honesty, professionalism, and work ethic and also about Eric Isakov, Project Manager; Drew, Production Head; and especially about Angel, Crew Foreman and his very hard-working, efficient crew. They started at 6:45 AM by completely tarping and netting my landscape and AC unit and finished w a thorough clean-up around 2:00 PM. Are you sitting down? I got a class 4 shingle roofing system for the class 3 price. The price had it been for a class 3 is an excellent price (I had 5 other proposals from highly-reputable companies to compare it to), but as a class 4 price, it is unbeatable and totally amazing! Just so you are aware: I had read one-star reviews and complaints on Feazel so I checked further and found out that those reviews/complaints were mostly --maybe all-- for Feazel companies outside of Ohio, and their sub-contractors do not work for Feazel in New Albany, Ohio. Even so, the complaints were dealt with in a manner that enabled Feazel to retain an A+ rating, but in the meantime, those reviews/complaints cast what seems to be to me an unfair shadow over the work Feazel does in central Ohio: I and other central Ohio users and reviewers of Feazel are the evidence of Feazel's excellent work, materials, and professionalism here. Ace discovered that the prior roofer(2017) had failed to seal a gap between the shingles and the edge of the chimney. The roof that was replaced was two layers, and when it was replaced with one layer, that left an inch or so gap between the shingles and and chimney, which they failed to seal and also failed to install proper flashing so that water would drain away from the chimney. Ace repaired the issue and their price was very reasonable. Recently, I noticed paint cracking and dampness in a ceiling. I called the company that installed the roof-as it is nearing the end of the warranty. They sent someone who said he saw nothing wrong, and claimed they might need better ventilation. He said someone would call. No one did. I called Ace, he went up and saw the source of the problem, a bullet hole-likely there from someone's errant New Year's celebration. He fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Ace is responsive, and most important, he acts with integrity and his assessments are credible. Irrespective of 'warranties,' I trust him and will always call him first.

I had used his team on smaller projects and was somewhat pleased but this is definitely not a company I will work with ever again. Before the job started he asked me to review his work. I wanted to be honest with the insurance company and not submit a claim unless Tyler from Newman,who came out to give us an estimate, was sure we needed a new roof and we suffered damage beyond normal wear and tear. Plus we had 2 houses. Well one needed a new roof and the other one likely has another couple of years left. As an aside, if you turn in a claim to your insurance company, even if it is denied, you risk higher premiums or cancelation. That is why it is important to have Newman Roofing spend time assessing. In our case, our roof was more wear and tear with minimal hail. Dan and his guys were on time, even early. Weather has consistently been in the mid 90's. I was worried. But Newman keeps them well supplied with hydration. 14 man crew meant lots of vehicles, even a dump truck but they were minimally disruptive to our neighbors.
