Posting on behalf of a friend who experienced this: "I brought my vehicle to Tsunami Express Car Wash on Washington Ave and had two very upsetting experiences in just a few days. On my first visit, there was a truck in front of me and two cars behind me in the wash lane. At the end of the wash, the rolling door started coming down on the truck in front. The driver had to get out and try to lift the door so it wouldn't damage his truck. During this, the conveyor and rollers kept moving and my car was still being pushed forward with my two kids in the back seat. I was honking nonstop so the staff would stop the system and the cars behind wouldn't hit me. It felt very unsafe. When I went back a few days later to talk about what happened, I was brushed off. I also found out my membership, which was supposed to be $10/month until December, had been charged at $20. They canceled my membership and gave me 5 "free" washes instead. While I was there, the same rolling door issue happened again: it came down and badly scratched a truck and dented the SUV behind it. Staff blamed a former employee instead of taking responsibility or fixing the obvious safety problem. I tried to contact someone higher up. The corporate number I found online told me they couldn't help and that I needed to speak to the location. When I went back to the wash to ask for a manager's contact information, the man in charge refused to provide a phone number, said it was none of my business, and became very rude. He called me "crazy" and "stupid," refused to give me a refund, and told me not to come back. There were two other employees in the office who said nothing while this happened. I left in tears and felt completely helpless and disrespected. Because of the unsafe equipment, the damage to vehicles, and the way management treated me when I tried to address it, I will not be returning and I don't feel this is a safe place to bring a vehicle--especially with kids in the car." read more

Since they changed companies its been the most horrible exsperiance i've ever had!!!!!. The brushes damaged my front bumber to a total of $2000!! And I keep getting the run around from the worst unprofessional customer service ever!!!!! I advice anyone that values their car not to Ever,Never take your car there!!! They are scandalous. And they are not accredited by the BBB! read more

This car wash automatically renewed a yearly memebership on my credit card for nearly $400. I have called 9 times through out the last couple weeks and nobody answers and nobody has returned my call. I physcially went in to the location today, they were able to cancel the memebership, bvut said that I had to call to get my money back. Again, I've called 5x today, nobody there to answer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY FRAUDULENTLY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOBODY IS AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WON'T GIVE IT BACK! read more

I had a good experience at tsunami with the manager he was sharp and a gentleman, I will keep having my membership with them.

Not sure what is causing this but everytime I go there my white truck is full of black spots all over. Not sure if it is the tire dressing they use? I dry my truck off when done, but as soon as I drive away something slings all over and is filthy a block away. The wash itself is very good except for that. read more

Touch screen didn't work!! Not one there to help!! Had to back out and go somewhere else!! Avoid this place!!

I brought my suv and my two pups with me the other day... the vacuums were the best I've ever used at a car wash to date (plus FREE to use)!!! Made cleaning out my SUV super easy!!! They have a pet washing station (complete with dog treats!) that gives you more than enough time to wash your pup up! And the car wash itself... left my SUV looking sparkling new!!! The staff was super friendly, the facility was very clean and quiet. If I had any suggestions for improvement it would be.... I wish they had a little area or vending machine for you to purchase different cleaners for inside your car or air fresheners! (Cuz I forgot mine!) and I wish the hose for the dog wash had a little more slack... I have some big pups who didn't want to stand where I needed them to.... so it was hard to reach at times. I've been to rocket wash and actually dislike their vacuums, the quality of the wash, and that you have to pay for a wash just to use their vacuums! Given everything I absolutely give 10/10 and would recommend Tsunami Car Wash to everyone I know!!! read more

Do NOT go here. I went and was "sold" a mo they package for half off. Guess what, they charged my card full price. Haven't been able to use it once as it has rained and snowed consistently. I was really impressed with this car wash in Mt. Pleasant! When you drive in, they man one entry station with a live person! but with their subscription service (very reasonable!) the other station just reads your plates and opens the gate for you and you drive right through. While most car washes seem to be about the same but Tsunami, even with the cheapest package, pre-sprays your car with the bug buster and tire shine and sends you through. Then at the end they heat dry your car which works way better than just vacuuming the water off. Marissa was working the drive up when I went in the first time and she was great. Prompt service, efficient manner and friendly attitude. She knew what she was talking about and explained how everything worked. Great people business, great car wash service. As of recently there has been a very definite change in personal and professionalism here. Cars are coming out cleaner and problems addressed. I feel this new manager is heading in the right direction even with a brand new rocket wash down the road. Come check them out Managers name is Anthony Any thing you need to know he is always willing to take the time to explain. They are pet friendly and always have free treats for the dogs Which awesome thing is they even have wash stations for pets!! No more clogged drains sweet! read more

This car wash scratched my car and by the time I saw it it was too late to report. I will not use this place anymore.

I brought my Ford F250 in to get washed and vacuumed. It was the best service I had in a long time. Vacuums there got the job done, with no issues of lack of suction. Anthony the manager there was really nice, and very attentive to detail with everything around him. I will definitely be coming back with all my vehicles as well as my pups. No issues with this place. My car is definitely cleaner than competitors washes thanks to the double wash. I utilize a monthly subscription and go a few times a week so my cars are always clean. With the heavy salt of the winter there were several employees who took the time to prespray my car to get some of the heavier deposits off. Most of the staff of very friendly and personable. Will continue with my subscription till they royally screw something up! read more

This review is for their Greenfield, Wisconsin location. I went through this car wash approximately 2 weeks ago, while inside my vehicle - the conveyor belt stopped and my car was hit from behind and my car hit the car in front of me, multiple times. It was like a domino effect. Incident reports were completed and management stated they were going to review the camera recording of the vehicles going through the car wash. Since then, getting any type of response from them has been a nightmare. The phone is never picked up, phone calls are not returned and even when coming back to the car wash in person, I am met with excuses and half-answers. The manager's name is Steve and is unprofessional and shady. read more

Just went thru this wash feb 15 .The whole back and bottom were filthy. Probably because they didn't bother to spray the car at the very beginning. Won't be using this wash again as they obviously provide a poor wash. read more
