No cutlery or napkins on the tables. Food however was amazing. I had the eggs benedict which was delicious and my children both declared their sandwiches the best they had ever had. High praise indeed! When i went to pay at the end, the lady at the counter asked me what I thought. When i mentioned the service, she explained that someone had called in sick that day and they hadn't been able to replace them at such short notice. I'm glad of this, as it means they're not deliberately short-staffed, and the kids and I will definitely be back.

They do not allow dogs, even on the patio, which means they lose out on many customers who are walking or on bikes which is popular in this area. I am sure the place could make more of the business if they made more of an effort and had better hygiene and attitude. Not the sort of place you would want to meet for a coffee with a frient etc. Much better to go to the Herb Farm on the road to Reading for an attractive setting, good fresh food and friendly staff and facilities. Prices, as mentioned - and for all these types of places, are a little on the high side. Due to the constant attentions of the teens,the place could do with a bit of a makeover.
