    Coffee!
    Tanim I.

This is my first time eating an (almost) traditional English breakfast. I say almost, because coffee. The rest was a BIG cheese omelette, a generous serving of chips, and peas! I wouldn't have thought peas would go so well with the chips and the omelette, but it does! The omelette was excellent, the chips were just right, and so were the peas. I was worried the coffee would be too strong without dream. Instead, it also was very good and just strong enough!

Whilst in England... having a full English breakfast is a MUST! My boyfriend and I tried two different types. My favorite parts were eating the eggs, beans, and toast all together in one bite. Super yummy! I am also a huge tomato lover, and having it fried was a nice touch. Considering I'm from Hawai'i (USA) I wasn't quite used to the taste of their sausages. Altogether, a very solid breakfast and really filling! I do wish prices weren't so steep in England :\ breakfast was equivalent to $45 USD for the two of us, not including any gratuity. Still a great little café! I would recommend.

    Full English Breakfast

Overall: Come here if you only want just black coffee or tea (don't expect cream/milk) for a quick stop. Food: English Breakfast-not entirely impressed with it. Sausage tasted like it was heated through the microwave. Eggs, bacon and hash brown were fine. Beans taste like they were re-heated out of a microwave Additional Notes: They did not have any milk or cream which was a bit of a let down considering it should be a standard for most cafés.

    Vegetarian Full English Breakfast

What a great little cafe! Super friendly service, diner atmosphere and reasonable prices! I had the vegetarian version of a full English breakfast and it was very tasty. Close to all of the airport hotels too, so a nice way to end my holiday. The menu has a lot of breakfast items as to be expected but also a selection of other things such as paninis and sandwiches. I recommend checking them out!

The lounge is stunning. It's huge, bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer some great tarmac views. The decor was solid - I think I read the words "premium corporate" somewhere lol.. Vintage photography, some cool tree decor, blues, golds, etc... Overall a sophisticated and welcoming vibe. The service was definitely proactive and polished. From the warm greeting at reception to the attentive staff who are constantly clearing plate and restocking the buffet, I felt well looked after. A special shoutout to the shower suite attendants. The facilities were immaculate. I had been up all night trying to time my inner-clock & avoid jet lag, so the warm shower was perfect before my flight. The food was solid, but not terribly exciting. Given the reputation of this lounge, I was expecting a bit more variety, but was met with a standard English breakfast. There wasn't much in the way of elevated options, though it was tasty nonetheless. And the bar was beautiful, though nobody was really partaking given it was 6:30 in the morning. All in all, solid experience. I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying the lunch/dinner options plus the beautiful bar.

There are a variety of seating spaces, from quieter corners to more social spaces, adding to the overall comfort. The food selection is better than your average lounge, with a decent range of options, both hot and cold, that go beyond basic snacks. It's not quite top-tier, but definitely satisfying before a flight. I didn't partake but they also have showers which can be refreshing for those who are traveling long haul. Overall, a comfortable and well-equipped lounge that delivers a good experience when traveling internationally.

It started out okay'ish, but it went downhill pretty fast. Thankfully the company was great, and we were always engaged in conversation which made the 3 hour dinner go by pretty quick. The drinks were good. Okay, now for the worst of the review! :-) The amount of time it took to get the food, the excuses made, and the quality of the food was a problem. We were continually told that there was a problem with the oven, however this excuse should not have applied to the cold pecan tart I was served for dessert. Somehow, it was, and we did wait an hour alone for those cold desserts! I ordered the lamb steak.. which it was "Lamb", but thinner than the sole of my shoe. It was well done (not per order), but I doubt on something that thin you could even determine "rare, medium or well done". The other food ordered was of similar calibre, nothing to really write about, just generally bad. The waitress did give us two free bottles of water, I wonder when giving away water as a remedy for bad food and service became a standard, usually they comp a meal or something. Oh well, just another example why it was not a good restaurant. Oh, and it was expensive.

I have to say it was some of the best espresso and chocolate croissant I've had. Albeit a bit pricey on what you're receiving, the quality and grandiose more than makes up for it. This cafe has a limited menu featuring breakfast, pastries, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. We were there around 8am and the Louis Vuitton store adjacent to it was already open as well for folks who were in the mood to shop. The espresso was served in a beautiful glass adorned with the LV monogram symbols and the plate as well. Everything in each little detail was adorned with the monogram pattern. When I asked for sugar it was served shaped as a monogram flower. The napkin had a monogram flower and it was just so classy-ly done. What stood out to me was the croissant being brought by the chef himself and it was massive. There was powdered sugar sprinkled on top with the monogram flower shown in the sugar. The chocolate filling was made with some of the best chocolate one could have and the croissant itself was so flaky. It probably took me at least five to ten minutes to finish it because it was that big. Staff here was pretty friendly and I loved the touch of the bar decorated with three beautiful louis vuitton trunks. Take a moment to look around and appreciate the art, architecture, design, and interior decorating. It is all a blast.
