I gave two stars based on customer service. I decided to order flowers for a friend and called Tucker Flower Shop to confirm they could deliver the arrangement I wanted. I made a specific request for a particular design that appeared on their website, and I was told they could do it. The flowers were delivered later that day but were clearly the wrong arrangement. Interestingly, the person who took my order even sent me a picture of the vase to confirm what I wanted. Although they replaced the arrangement the next day, the overall experience was disappointing. My friend loves flowers, and I wanted to surprise her with a unique, beautiful arrangement -- but I had to tell her about the mix-up, which ruined the surprise. While the staff was friendly during the ordering process, no one ever called to apologize or confirm the correction. I won't use this florist again. I value great customer service and attention to detail, and this experience was time-consuming and frustrating. Next time, I'll just pick up an arrangement myself and deliver it personally. read more

Horrible experience. I made a $95.02 order for Mother's Day flowers for my mother, with delivery to be scheduled in advance of Mother's Day. No flowers were delivered. I have called the shop 4 times, emailed 3 times, and no one has responded to me nearly 4 weeks later. They have provided no refund for the order that was never delivered. I do not recommend this place to anyone and would give my experience 0 stars if I could. Do not shop here. read more

First of all, my mother used to work here and they fired her without notice. She would bring me there, and the only thing I liked about it was the Mexican restaurant nearby, they're super nice. Second of all, this place absolutely REEKS. Smells old, like opening your grandma's closet. Third of all, THEY ABUSE THEIR WORKERS! Recently Kiana who used to work there up until recently was verbally abused by Paul, the shop owner, and was kicked in the back by his sister. Not only that, she faced racism there. His sister his named Tina, as well. Workers have felt threatened near Paul like he was going to attack him. This is not the workers fault, it's the workplace and the family who runs it. The original shop owner who died a few years back was much nicer, then the family took over and it went to shit. Horrid shit. They can barely make it look nice, it's disorganized. They have wilted flowers, ive been downstairs myself and it was horrid, reeked even worse. Do not buy from this place unless you want to support ABUSERS who can't take care of their workers and make them feel threatened. The owners and his family are terrible people. I placed an order at the Tucker Flower Shop for flowers on Feb. 6th to be delivered to my daughter at her workplace on Feb. 13th. She loves getting flowers for Valentines Day. On the 16th she told me she did not get any flowers. On Monday, I called the shop and was told that my order was no longer on the computer and they are not sure what happened to it. I am very concerned because the vanishing order contained my credit card number. I have called twice this week and was told that the manager would contact me. As of 2/19 I have not heard from them. read more

A BIG PRAISE of gratitude to Tucker's one Tucker Flower Shop. They tried to deliver an arrangement to me on Saturday however I was out of town. I came back on Sunday and then worked 7-7 on Monday & Tuesday. Instead of the refrigerating the original arrangement, a beautiful new bouquet was waiting for me today. This place did a great job! I am a real buyer and this is a real review. I was so nervous because I placed the order and then seen the reviews after I placed my order and the reviews were horrible. This shop did the worst job I've ever seen in fulfilling an order. If I could rate the service as zero, I would. I ordered a specific arrangement online but the one that was delivered was NOTHING like my online order. Clearly, no care was put into the arrangement. Really, I was humiliated by what was delivered. They should go out of business because they don't take pride in their services. I got completely ripped off and can't discourage others enough. Any positive reviews must be from relatives. I called this morning to see if I could get a birthday bouquet delivered to my mom who is in a nursing home in Tucker. The woman on the phone was wonderful, asked what kind of flowers she would like, and put together a GORGEOUS arrangement that was delivered in a few hours. I am in Baltimore, and another florist could have just sent over a mediocre bouquet and I probably would never have known. Luckily, my brother was there and took this photo and my mom was THRILLED. I entered the store and I love that the staff were wearing mask. This was around graduation time. It's important that they were prioritizing public health. The customer service was excellent! They were attentive to my needs considering the fact that I had no idea what type of flower I needed for the event. It is a small shop but they have such a variety. The ladies at Tucker flower shop completely saved me on Friday afternoon. I completely dropped the ball on ordering a corsage for my cousin's bridal shower on Saturday. It was 3:09 on a Friday afternoon and after stopping at several places to no avail, I called them and by five they had an absolutely beautiful corsage ready for me. I call Tucker Flower Shop to order a bouquet of flowers. I place the order, provided her with contact info for both the person the flowers were going to, as well as mine. My credit card was charged, but the flowers were never delivered. When I called to ask why, the explanation was 'they had printer problems that day.' My niece's prom was on April 14, I went in the shop on April 12 to order her corsage. I received the best customer service. Yun and Ross were amazing!!!! I showed Ross a picture of the dress and he was able to match and coordinate the corsage perfectly. The corsage was ready for pick up on time and was gorgeous! I haven't been able to stop looking at it in all of her pictures. I even saved $5 compared to going somewhere else. My husband sent me roses today for our 4th anniversary. The roses are lovely, but the lilies and other filler they placed in the roses is awful. The filler is wilted and has brown spots throughout the arrangement. This is the second time within a year that I have received flowers from this shop and neither has compared with other florists I have received flowers from. 9/13/14 This review is being written about the Tucker Flower Shop in Tucker,Ga. they are a vendor for Flower Shopping .Com. On 9/08/14 ,I ordered a funeral spray arrangement (Gentle Thoughts), with a banner attachment,(Beloved Godmother),via Flower Shopping .Com and the Tucker Flower Shop in Tucker,Ga filled the order. I reside in Chicago,IL sending flowers for the funeral services of my Godmother in Atlanta,Ga . They were delivered on the designated day 9/11/14 to Haugabrooks Funeral Home. On delivery, the banner, was missing which I had paid extra for, and the floral arrangement contained 95% green leaves, and about 10 flowers. This is not what I consider to be a floral spray arrangement, and was different from the website display which showed about 30 flowers or so with greenery to accent the flowers . My thoughts are , because I reside in Chicago, and the flowers were delivered in Atlanta, the florist thought I would not find out that I had not recieved what was ordered and paid for . Luckily my family & friends in Atlanta emailed me pictures of what had been delivered . After filing a customer service complaint I was only offered 50% reimbursement of the original price of the arrangement ordered and paid for, rather than a total reimbursement of the total amount . After all I can't get a do over, because my loved one was buried on 9/12/14. I want to spare any potential customers from going through a similar ordeal. I admit I don't send flowers often enough, and my wife :-) would agree. But when I DO, I have used Tucker Flower Shop. I'm a long time resident of Tucker and yes I believe in supporting local business in general, but only when they earn my trust. For well over 30 yrs, TFS has never let me down. Whether it was Valentine's Day or a birthday for my wife or daighters or just a spontaneous whim, the team there has wow'd the recipient beyond my expectations. In Feb of this year and again yesterday my wife has needed to be hospitalized. She loves flowers so during both stays I contacted TFS and in both cases the owner, Julia happened to be the one assisting. My wife adores tulips so yesterday I perused their website looking for a pretty assortment. I telephoned in the order and Julia made some recommendations for an arrangement that would really highlight the tulips that I wanted featured. What's notable is that her ideas came to LESS money than what I had selected when I started the call. How many website or 800 based businesses could or WOULD actually listen to the customer and craft something unique, especially if it worked out to be marginally less money..Zero. My wife received the arrangement today and telephoned my office and was, let's say, more than thrilled with what she received! Again, not unprecedented for This shop but I had just the slightest worry "had I spent enough to really thrill her this time". In retrospect that is a foolish worry for anyone when the giver/recipient really love each other, but I did worry the slightest bit. Well I truly learned that I can totally trust Julia's "audibles" henceforth regardless of budget. In my mind, THIS is why you choose a local florist and not a faceless .com. Your money is going 100% to the flowers and not a big chunk to a middleman. You combine that logistic with an owner who "gets it" and actually cares about their art/craft and you get the reaction I received today at a most fair price!
