Paid 270 for a consult 45 min consult and essentially was told that I should consult with someone else. Don't waste your money.

I do not trust Kelly Roberts and Betsy at this firm. I had to leave several messages and send emails begging Kelly to respond. Betsy seems to have a chip on her shoulder and has a nasty attitude. She did little to assist and seems as if she was hired to tell clients that Kelly is unavailable and it is what it is. You are charged for their mistakes and issues then told there are no issues with the bill only to be roped into a back and forth ending in additional charges. I'd pay thousands upon thousands for quality, but that is not what I found here. I am still waiting for a refund of my trust account and expect to be yet another fight with the firm.Do not deal with Kelly or Betsy. read more

Lynn Bradley is sooo incredibly nice and sweet. She is quick to answer the phone, she calls and make sure you're doing okay (like, what lawyer does that??) And she gives great advice on protecting yourself during a mediation/divorce process. As a black woman, it's so wonderful to get such wonderful energy you can interact and trust! This review is against Leila Higgins-Fleishman in regards to Tucker Griffin Barnes, PC as a whole. The firm should be ensuring that new attorneys are not acting in an unethical manner. Leila is attempting to bully witnesses through discovery who have alerted her that they have no relevant discovery and hold them in contempt of court for not producing documents that they do not have. Leila has only been practicing family law since 2017 and attempts to bully her way through the legal process. If Leila believes that a witness has relevant discovery, she should know that phone records are only produced from a phone company. Seems she is too green to know this and therefore attempts to bully her way through the process. Firm should be investigated as a whole. read more

The office had issues with communications. It was very hard to get answers to our questions. We had received final documents one night before closing and find there extra $400 charge for negotiations with buyers. No one informed us about problems that had to be addressed and did not ask us do we want to pay for extra negotiations with buyers or not read more

I would not recommend this firm. My husband and I was charged a ridiculous amount of money, and did not get any meaningful legal guidance. I am only giving one star, because you can not post a review of less then one star. read more

1.5 Stars While the case was finally settled with a satisfactorily outcome, dealing with Ms. Barnes was terrible. Horrible communication. Constant excuses on her part for tasks poorly done and mistakes. Would never hire again. Only reason she gets more than 1 star is because after all the headaches, the case did settle fairly. Great first impression in August. Made plans to come back and get my paperwork in order. Called and emailed multiple times only to finally be told the attorney had left the practice. Tried to set up something with someone else to unfortunately start over but was given the run around the ignored. read more

i was just starting the divorce process. my wife had an attorney but i didn't. i contacted laura butler of this firm and made an appt for a consultation. it went well and i liked her. i made a second appt for the middle of august. i was surprised they couldn't get me in sooner but ok. just the other day i was served with divorce papers. i called tucker barnes kind of in a panic at that point. i was told there was nothing they could do. i needed to answer these papers well before 8/18 the date of my next zoom meeting. if they couldn't take on a new client they should have told me that instead of taking my money for a consult. i called around and have found someone else but this was a most unpleasant experience with them. make sure an attorney can take your case before spending any time or money with them. this firm has really let me down. i never leave reviews but what they did to me was not right or nice. this is a very trying and upsetting time and if you're in it you don't need this type of experience to add to the pain. read more

One of the worst operational law offices I've ever dealt with. Poor communication during my short sale process, took way too long and cost me 150+ points on my credit score because of the time they took to complete. I kept in contact with the banks during the process and they said there was missed paperwork filings, duplicate errors, and lack of call-backs... just a start to the wrong doings. They also charged me $3000 more for the SAME process another person went through. Fair I ask.? Lastly, they represented a client that had a Bank Robbery charge against them into the mix of a friend that was trying sell his home. Class Act.! CONSUMER BEWARE.!!! read more

Our daughter was in a domestic situation with her boyfriend and custody rights for their son. The attorney insisted on a very large payment up front and did very little to aid her. The attorney kept charging for any emails or phone calls that were made over several months with out any court hearings. The attorney constantly berated our distraught daughter because she didn't know how to insist that she needed more help to gain full custody of her son. The attorney stated that our daughter should be fired from having an attorney. With this said just days before the court hearing, the attorney was fired and our daughter had to go to court without the attorney's representation and after paying over $6000. I would strongly suggest that you do not use this law firm for domestic or family law. Our daughter received absolutely NOTHING from them except a bill that took her two years to pay back from a creditor. read more
