But today hit different for me. I have had a HORRIBLE day. I went in, not interested to talk to anyone, just to get my stuff and leave. I got several items because I was the one doing the store run for a birthday party later this evening. I did end up having to ask a question about an item and the gentleman was right on top of it and knew his stock without even having to go searching. I got up to the counter and was greeted with a huge smile and kind attitude from the young lady working the cash register. She was so sweet even though I know you could read on my face that I was in a terrible mood. (I know I had the worst resting B*tch face ever and there was no hiding it) Then the same gentleman who had answered my question before, immediately without hesitation grabbed my stuff off the counter as I was paying, and carried it out to my car for me. He was very friendly on the way to my car. They both acted as if they were there at work because they enjoy it, rather than just because it was their job and they have to make a pay check. I thanked this gentleman as he was walking away and told him I was having a horrible day but they made it a little better, but as I was pulling away I noticed I had a smile on my face and even though my day has been so horrible they really did put me in a better mood. Honestly right now in this time, it's hard to find anyone who is willing to show up everyday and work. It's damn near impossible to find someone to do it as if they enjoy it and give that kind of service. I would definitely say this is the Chick-fil-A of liquor stores. Thank you so much for making my day a little better. **Also for reference the girl was a white girl wearing a black shirt and the gentleman was a black man wearing a black shirt and red ball cap. It's a large door that carries everything you could ever want from the most basic beer to the most hard to find craft beers from boutique brands. I was surprised at the variety of Prairie ales that they had available. I would say that the selection is better than hop city. I also love that they carry the tiptop canned beverages.
