Yum! I didn't see anything on the menu that I didn't want to try. When we saw them parked next to the Office Depot on a Friday midday, we had to try. The trailer they're in needs some love but don't let that deter you. And they'd just had a lunch rush so they were already out of a couple things (at 12:20!) but she let us know right away so we didn't try to order something that was out. We got a chicken tender basket and a sweet heat honeybird sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. First - the mac is amazing. I haven't tried a new mac I've really liked in awhile, the crunchy fried bits on top were a great addition. The sandwich... well it was bit large! But its worth it. Probably could have had a little less of the bacon pimento cheese on it, seeing as most of it seemed to have squeezed out of it haha. Also, there wasn't much heat but there was a ton of flavor. This place has the food locked in! Their sauces are all top shelf. We tried every one of them with our sampler. Fancy sauce and Peach Habanero were our favorites. The Habanero was the perfect amount of heat to flavor ratio. The service was fast and very friendly. (Thank you Sweat-Heat. ) My only challenge was the digital presence. Their menu wasn't mobile friendly and their locations listed could be improved for accuracy, but if you find them you gotta try them. The Hushpuppies and Sweat Heat sandwich will have me bringing the kids next time! Their prices were very reasonable and less than some other chicken chains Opening up in the area. read more

Some of the best food I had throughout my entire trip to Oregon. Just wow! I wasn't even supposed to eat here, but the wait for my tacos was too ridiculous. I'm honestly soo relieved I ended up eating this instead. I tried their Peanut Salad with Chicken and the Bayou Rolls. I have never had a bayou roll before, but it was superb (I don't think I've ever used that word before)! I could've eaten 20 more of those and still not been tired of the flavor. The peanut salad was also very good. Bit bland if I didn't have the chicken, but such a great mix. This is one of those little places that makes me wish I lived closer so I could eat there frequently. read more

I've heard good things and finally had the opportunity to try Tucky's out at an event this past weekend. The menu was more limited but we were not at all disappointed by the Mac and cheese as well as the chicken tenders. The mac was so creamy and delicious and we even dipped our chicken in the left over sauce! The chicken was tender and deliciously crunchy on the outside! My husband said the jo-jos were the best he's ever had! They were slammed and still very friendly! Look forward to trying out other menu items at their normal location! read more

Oh my word, I have a serious obsession with this place! I had been hearing people talk about it forever and knew I needed to give it a try. I stopped in here with a buddy of mine, and it is easy to see why they are so loved and everyone is talking about them. They're friendly, funny, super helpful, and it is abundantly clear they love what they do, as it comes out in both their food and attitudes. I ordered the biscuits and gravy bites and some kind of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. I can't remember what it is called, but it was all simply amazing. There was nothing I didn't like about the food. It is unlike anything else in town, and I love that. One of the things I noticed is the attention to details and knowing their customers. My buddy is an ambulance driver, so time isn't always his friend when it comes to stopping for a bite to eat. The owners know this and will stop to ask what he's ordering (they know his favorites too) while he's in line and start making it so it is done when he gets to the front of the line and can grab the food and head straight back to work, without missing a beat. I love when someone goes above and beyond like that, to know someone's name, their usual order, or help speed things up because they may not have time otherwise. That is the kind of thing that is memorable, and will bring me back. The food was what drew me in originally, but the attention to details and care that is put into both the food and customer service is what brings me back. This is easily my favorite food truck in town, and with good reason. Go check them out, because you will not be disappointed! read more

I have never eaten food that is filled with so much flavor and presented in what would be a higher up restaurant! You have made a returning customer! Kinda strange hours but their food is legit. I wish I lived in Eugene so we could eat there more often. Hushpuppies are the best I've had outside of the South. Many have them. Few are worthy. These are awesome. Their Peanut salad is so good that I'm going to try to replicate it since we don't live nearby. Wish me luck. My first time there. The husbanf/wife combo were super friendly & wasy to get along with mostly because they joked back. The food was good got the biscuit & gravy rolls. The gravy it self needed a smidge more flavor had a heavy cream cheese taste. Also jo-jos...yes nicely breaded in the same batter they use for their fried chicken. Super crunchy & delicious (reheated nicely the next day in the air fryer). Then i got a chicken sandwich that was delicious super messy (tried eating in my car lol). Perhaps as a smaller slider version as it was huge & filling. Over all i would totally go back & order everthing again. Tuckys is amazing! The folks who run it are very friendly, and the menu is something we don't have really anywhere else. I stopped by a few weeks ago to grab a snack for me and lunch for my dad- I had the B and G biscuits, and I grabbed him the meatloaf sandwich special. The biscuits were really good, and a good handheld appetizer/snack. His meatloaf sandwich smelled amazing- I hate meatloaf but I had to try it. It tasted as good as it smelled! He said it was fantastic too. It was huge, and very messy! I wish it came with a side for the price, but that's a minor complaint. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other items they have on the menu, especially the chicken and waffles and some of the desserts! Definitely check them out! read more

Wow! I got the sweet heat honey baby sandwhich and it was AMAZING. The sweet and spicy compliment each other perfectly. Whatever cheese they use is heavenly. Not only did it taste amazing, it was HUGE... definitely could split between two adults and still have leftovers. The jojos and sauce (that I assume they make in house) were also very impressive. Their hours are short, so make sure you check that before visiting to make sure they are open. read more

Foods great, the service not so much. I've tried coming here multiple times and each time they've run out of food. I guess that's a good and bad thing. Every place needs to work out the kinks. I'm just not sure how long the couple working the truck will be able to stand one another with the way they treat eachother. I waited in line for the third time and when I got to the front they told me they were all out of chicken after telling me and the customers in front of me they had enough. Worth the wait. Normally, I work all day during the lunch hours, but I got a chance to try them for lunch one day. The yardbird sandwich was excellent. Got it nashville hot style, and its actually pretty spicy. I was happy with that. I'm an adrenaline junky for extra spicy food, and this fits the bill perfectly. Good size, and honestly good priced sandwich! $9 It doesn't include sides; sides are separate charges, which is fine. I'll be going back when I get the opportunity to ! Great fried chicken! Super crispy on the outside, tender and tasty inside. Just about perfect. Several different chicken sandwiches all sound good, we split the Spicy Rooster and it was plenty for two, with tasty Sriracha sauce and a flavorful slaw. Visiting our kids in Springfield and we had lunch thanks to Tucky's. We had two orders of the Peach waffles and chicken- let's jus say wow! The waffle was light and fluffy with a healthy portion of peaches but the chicken was even better. Tasty battered boneless chicken (probably thighs) with a seasoning that was complimentary to the fruit and waffle. We enjoyed a side order of Brussels sprouts that was perhaps the best I have ever eaten. You need to eat them to believe it. Another super side dish was the jo jo's. Again seasoned and battered to perfection. We also had Jambalaya rolls that were spicier than I normally eat but they were so tasty I worked myself through the heat and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are very happy with our Tucky experiences. Between the two of us, we have been there nearly a dozen times and always walked away satisfied. The food is great. We have enjoyed everything I have had from Brian. Our favorites are the chicken peanut salad, the rooster sandwich and the brussel sprouts. The kids always want a little bird kids basket. We were out for a walk with one of the kids we work with and when he saw the truck from 1/2 a block away. He literally dragged me there and would not be deterred. Tucky's was an unexpected find when I was searching for food trucks to grab lunch at. I looked at the photos and immediately knew I needed to give it a try. I ordered the peanut chicken salad, hush puppies, jambalaya rolls and peach beignets to share with some coworkers. First of all they do NOT skimp on the portion sizes. Second of all... yum! I loved the peanut chicken salad. It was full of fresh ingredients, perfectly fried chicken and a ton of flavor. The hush puppies were friend to perfection and the jambalaya roll is unlike anything I have ever tried before but in a delicious way. Yes, the food is indulgent but they use high quality ingredients and like to put out different specials. I tried the jo jo potatoes too and they were amazing. I was at a Harvest family event at Sah Ha Lee yesterday and we were given foot tickets to enjoy dinner at one of the food carts. I chose FUEL Mobile kitchen because they had a chicken meal with country gravy and I suck at making country gravy. I was a tony bit about the "greens" which I was told would be Kale, but I went for it anyway. I am soo glad that I did too, because the piece of white breast chicken was huge and the gravy was amazing! The bread for the "sandwich" (if you could call that monster pile of delicious ingredients that) was made of corn bread and had kernels of real corn. And the kale? It was touching the gravy, which made it surprisingly wonderful as well. I guess the secret for kale - for people like me who don't care for it - is to let it touch FUEL's Mobile Kitchen gravy. The customer service is absolutely awful, the woman that takes your order, always has a attitude. I asked for some more. napkins and ranch, she just ignored me until I had to ask again. Their food is good, that's the only reason that this review is 2 stars. But the mac bowl was underwhelming and under filled. The price is pretty outrageous if there not going to fill it all the way. I Do Not recommend going there during lunch, there are plenty of disrespectful children and they ran out of chicken for the mac bowl. so my wife had to get a "bawk bawk box" that was terrible. Coburg Pizza had an almost 2 hour wait so I decided on Tucky's since it was close by. They let me know that it would be a 20 minute wait and I said that it would be ok since I had other errands to run. The person at the cash register didn't seem excited about this, didn't ask for my name or give me a receipt. I ran my errand and came back. My food was handed over without a thanks. Ah, the holidays. I try to support local and don't expect a song a dance from everyone. But, at least a thanks would be nice right now. Food was OK. The Jojos have a nice crunch and an interesting dipping sauce but no flavor. The Mac n cheese is ok. It has little crunchies on top from the JoJos "cracklins" which is a nice touch. Excellent! Lovely farm-to-table dishes. Hubs and I both had the chicken sandwich - it was a meal unto itself, and yet everything was nicely balanced. It was huge! Fried pickles - PERFECT. Sour, homemade, and fried just right with an awesome dipping sauce. I make my own pickles so I am a pickle snob. Tucky's are housemade and so this pickle snob is happy happy happy. Bayou roll - DEEELISH. You just have to try it and see. Slaw - peanutty goodness, a nice way to get your raw greens. Beautifully done. Will be coming back A LOT. This food truck is trying to find themselves in a small town of Monmouth. It's a tough sale because people in Monmouth are not used to various of Un-American foods. This place has great foods and the owner is passionate about his food. He expresses himself with delicious foods that will hit you into a coma and you'll be ready for a nap. Do not listen to Michelle M comment. Just because you struggled to find a simple location does not mean you have to write a weird comment. Overall go try his Mac and Cheese, Bimbampap, and whatever he has on the menu. Fair warning - he has different foods every day! I am really not sure how I feel about this place. Have you ever had a sandwich whose individual ingredients are outstanding but when you put it altogether it is so messy to eat that you just want to throw it on the ground and then go stomp on it? We ordered a hot sweet chicken sandwich,a pulled pork sandwich and an order of jojos we took it to the park. After 3 bites I had sandwich on every piece of clothing I had on plus most body parts! This was obviously not working out well for us. We wrapped it up and took it home for a knife and fork and a large towel! The sandwich components were awesome you just couldn't pick it up! Maybe we could wear a rain coat and try again! Great food! Bring a roll of paper towels, maybe two! Husband says this is a little critical and I don't mean it to be that way. The food was great!
