    Peanut salad with chicken
    Katherine K.

Some of the best food I had throughout my entire trip to Oregon. Just wow! I wasn't even supposed to eat here, but the wait for my tacos was too ridiculous. I'm honestly soo relieved I ended up eating this instead. I tried their Peanut Salad with Chicken and the Bayou Rolls. I have never had a bayou roll before, but it was superb (I don't think I've ever used that word before)! I could've eaten 20 more of those and still not been tired of the flavor. The peanut salad was also very good. Bit bland if I didn't have the chicken, but such a great mix. This is one of those little places that makes me wish I lived closer so I could eat there frequently.

Great food. Huge portions and the people were super nice. You could tell they took a lot of pride in what they do 10/10

LOVE THIS PLACE. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed! Support a local mom and pop food truck. Worth the trek out to 58th and Main St.

My first time there. The husbanf/wife combo were super friendly & wasy to get along with mostly because they joked back. The food was good got the biscuit & gravy rolls. The gravy it self needed a smidge more flavor had a heavy cream cheese taste. Also jo-jos...yes nicely breaded in the same batter they use for their fried chicken. Super crunchy & delicious (reheated nicely the next day in the air fryer). Then i got a chicken sandwich that was delicious super messy (tried eating in my car lol). Perhaps as a smaller slider version as it was huge & filling. Over all i would totally go back & order everthing again. But one must try other items as i saw they offered a peach cobbler waffle ummmm #gimb

Wow! I got the sweet heat honey baby sandwhich and it was AMAZING. The sweet and spicy compliment each other perfectly. Whatever cheese they use is heavenly. Not only did it taste amazing, it was HUGE... definitely could split between two adults and still have leftovers. The jojos and sauce (that I assume they make in house) were also very impressive. Their hours are short, so make sure you check that before visiting to make sure they are open.

Not quite as famous as it should be bowl

Wow! I'm thoroughly impressed with this food truck . Amazing portions & prices. There special of the week was there "not as famous as it should be" bowl and it was AMAZING . I'm super picky when it comes to mashed potatoes but these didn't let me down whatsoever. Their Mac & cheese has crispy chicken skin on top & has so much flavor . My new go to chicken spot .

Worst food cart food I've ever had in my life. Chicken had bones in it - GAG. At least the people are friendly.

I ordered the Mild Spice, which is basically medium on their spice list (#3 out of 6) and it was pretty close to my limit... I can only imagine what their # 6 is like (OUCH!) Really good flavor, juicy and tender! Very crispy crust on the chicken too! Onion rings seemed a little salty, but they were good. Good service too! I will be back!

Anyway, my…read moreboyfriend and I got chicken yesterday, however we completely forgot neither $12-$13 item comes with fries! Let me give you a rundown of the menu, $12.75 for the 3 tenders, usually jumbo but yesterday they definitely weren't- and the sandwich is $13.50. The tenders are usually huge but yesterday they were regular size I guess. The fries are $5 each, and pretty much any side starts at $5 here. Honestly the food yesterday was kinda mediocre, the chicken wasn't breaded well and was falling off the chicken, which tasted bland without the breading and seasoning, the bread it comes with was super soggy, and the last piece of bread anyway lol. The sandwich was really disapponting, the chicken wasn't seasoned well at all. Each food item only came with literally 1 pickle which was odd. Also we were waiting for the food and I don't know if he ever even called our name but when my bf went to check on it, it had already been done and sitting there? Obviously we don't need to be chased down but if you're not busy and we're literally behind the stand, you could at least try to mention something? We both thought that was weird too, the service just kinda seemed off today, the vibes weren't that great. Overall probably not returning, almost $30 and we didn't feel the chicken was the quality it typically is, and we've been here multiple times before. Typically we spend closer to $40 though, for each entree to have the completed side as a meal, and honestly for 2 people and in this rising economy, that's too steep to chance it not being that good. Super disappointing, would love to support local and have good food but not willing to risk $30-40 like that again.

Its a classic diner with bar top seating, many booths and open tables within a very small space. Don't be scared away from the waitlist or large families waiting outside the door, they seem to turn tables very quickly so plan for a little bit of a wait, but its worth it. We got lucky and two bar top seats opened up, we waited about 10 min. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who quickly offered us menus and filled our drink order. The menu is quite ample, lots of breakfast options, from scrambles and omelets to many shakes and desserts, if you are looking for lunch they have burgers, sandwiches and wraps. We ordered breakfast, I had the custom option, two eggs, bacon, sausage and added a side english muffin. The food was well cooked, good portion and great tasting. My son ordered a custom, 2 biscuits and gravy with an egg and hash brown, he loved his meal. The pricing was fair. We did not have much of a wait time from the time we ordered to getting our meals. Even though it was busy they did a great job making sure we were taken care of.

This is a solid diner. I would come back for the breakfast if in the area, and the lunch menu had some items that were calling my name as well.

Our server, Jay, greeted us and our daughter with a smile. He also brought us extras of our drinks, sauces, rolls & honey butter. He considered and anticipated our every need as first timers to Texas Roadhouse. Which we will definitely come back to. For lunch I tried the half rack of bbq ribs with green beans and steak fries. Now, I like my fries crispy but I did not convey that so that's on me but flavor and portion were on point. The green beans are somewhat reminiscent of the South and the ribs are the most tender rack I have ever had at a restaurant. My husband ordered the mushroom chicken sandwich. He did not get around to trying it because he filled up on hot rolls and honey butter. For appetizers we tried the fried pickles which were better than most places due to the nice thin batter. The cactus blossom (fried onion) was a highlight as we've been searching for one better than Outback Steakhouse and without shellfish contamination. Crispy, consistent batter, and just the right amount of flavor for the Cactus blossom. Overall we are completely full, satisfied with our meal, happy to have Jay as our server today, and look forward to returning sometime.
