We had many blinds in our home (not from this company) fall apart as if on cue. They are a couple of decades old, so it's not surprising that they might fall apart, but the fact that they started disintegrating in such a tight time span was pretty impressive. So with this immediate onset of hot sun baking our house and all semblance of privacy removed in our COVID-solace bubble house, I set out to find a good place to get replacement blinds. Upon reviewing the reviews, I called this place to get an estimate and hopefully to get started on the job ASAP. I had heard they were continuing to do business during the stay-at-home recommendations, so I was very excited at the prospect of getting the window coverings replaced so that our work-at-home might feel less like being in a Showtime rotisserie. Despite calling them a number of times and leaving messages several times, I have not heard back from them. Their phone system is still taking messages and the greeting doesn't indicate they are shut down, but they are nonresponsive, nevertheless. I'm imagining the best for this company, that perhaps they are indeed closed for the time being, and were unable to update the phone system to reflect this. But in any event, the net result has been I call, leave a message, they don't call back. read more

This is the go to company for blinds. Good service, good prices and quality product. We purchased a replacement blind for a large window about a year and a half ago. The blind was very reasonably priced. It came quickly. The biggest benefit was when the cord broke last week. I called and a couple days later they showed up ( early!). What a great experience we had from the beginning when contacting Tucson Blinds. We had the opportunity to meet with George, whom was very friendly and informative of the best window covering options available that would fit our needs and budget. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism and I didn't feel pressured. Outstanding service and installation! Jorge came by on schedule for measuring all of my windows throughout my new house which lasted approx 20mins. I agreed with Jorge's recommended color, type and width of custom-designed blinds which came with valances along with the schedule for receiving and installing the blinds. Jorge received received the blinds that morning and installed them in the early afternoon the same day. Installation took only 30 to 45mins! They look great! In addition, Jorge measured, ordered and installed a custom-made shutter for my ceiling skylight for one-third the price quoted by other local blinds businesses! He did not try to up-sell me on our initial visit, in fact, he tried to steer me to a less expensive product rather than the lite-rise functionality i wanted. He is knowledgeable about the product line and answered every question I had. My home is old and I'm sentimental about it but it did indeed pose some challenges updating to modern window shades. All of the pertinent factors were taken into consideration and adjustments made to provide for me the exact products I wanted, installed in my very old home, exactly the way I wanted them. Jorge did the measuring and install himself. When I wasn't totally satisfied with the way the shades over the glass sliding doors looked, he came back the next day and redid that install to my complete satisfaction. Retrospectively, I should have listened to him...he wanted me to put verticals on those particular doors but I dont like them so I insisted on horizontal blinds...funny. It was my fault and still he modified it to look wonderful! I think he sorely underestimated the time it would take to install and complete all the little modifications necessary on almost every window, but he didnt adjust the cost at all. It took him hours to get it right, but he perservered and these new window coverings make me very happy. Additionally, cleanup was professional too. It made more of a mess than I expected, but he cleaned it all up like a boss before he left I plan to add another product (sun screens) on the exerior of the SSE facing Arizona room windows that take a real beating from the sun - that will have to wait until the spring.
