The wait was about 2 hours. Doctors usually wait until the waiting room is pretty full before finally coming in. After that the girls trickled into his office one by one pretty fast. When it was my turn the Dr asked if I've ever given birth before, I hadn't, so he tells me about this 2 day procedure I would need to have. He explained that he didn't want to overstretch me so Monday I'd come in for some dilation medication and Tuesday I'd go through with the abortion. The lady in the front (I will get her name) that helped me with my paperwork was a gem. She was super sweet and attentive. The lady I saw after her was just as comforting and welcoming. I've never had a sweeter lady take my blood pressure. AND THE PRICES!!! You can't beat their prices. A lot of people like to say cheaper is not always better but in this case it's a win win. I spoke with all the ladies in the waiting room waiting on their turns for their procedures and when I mentioned this was my first time at this location they all had nothing but good things to say. Then when I left a message saying maybe there should be some more communication with the back assistants and the checkout in the front, she called me back and was very rude. She asked me why I thought that. I explained to her with over 25 years in medical offices I know that the responsibility does not land on the patient nor on the doctor it always lands on the employees, like it or not. My question was about if they sent my prescription and where they sent it to, but apparently that question was too much for her to handle, and I had this lady being rude to me on the phone, giving me a huge attitude. And I pray that they record the phone calls and I want the doctor to listen to how she spoke to me. Also, the doctor giving me samples and I asked her about that too. And she replied well I was not in the room with him so how am I supposed to know? And I told her that simple you just get up and ask him, and apparently that was too much for her to handle as well. Aquí pueden ver las cenizas de mi hijo, su certificado de defunción y foto y vídeo de nosotros el día de su funeral. Si usted no se quiere ver reflejada en este espero salga corriendo de este lugar. Y si usted decide seguir con este grupo médico, tenga siempre un plan B. No vaya a pasar como a mi, que se fueron de fiesta y no hubo nadie quien me ayudara. Quien fue mi doctor Youssef, fue poco empatico, nunca se preocupó por educarnos. Cuando pedimos nuestros récords médicos, casi no había tomado ni notas. Literalmente no nos estaba prestando atención. Supimos de él 5 meses después de esta tragedia. En su oficina su asistente médica nunca contestó, termine visitando a la emergencia del Mercy, sala de de labour and delivery. En donde fui enviada de vuelta a casa por el Dr. Francisco Cruz, también parte de Bayshore, con contracciones, SI! ME MANDARON A CASA CON CONTRACCIONES. Me pusieron el toco monitor pero no lo leyeron (de esto nos dimos cuenta porque tomamos fotos y luego investigamos). Me trataron como tonta por ser mi primer bebé y me mandaron a casa con contracciones diciéndome que lo que necesitaba era beber agua, que el dolor pélvico se me quitaría al siguiente mes y que si necesitaba algo solo llamara a la línea de emergencia de bayshore. Y a las pocas horas rompí fuente en casa. Llame mil veces a sus líneas de emergencia antes de romper fuente y ni ellos ni los Triana, ni Cárdenas atendieron. Todos ignoraron mi llamado. Y por eso estoy dejando este review porque todos los días pienso en las mujeres que van a este lugar y pueden tener una emergencia y que ni siquiera le contesten. Yo estoy viva gracias a intervención oportuna del servicio de ambulancias de la ciudad de Miami. Quienes tuvieron que detener la ambulancia varías veces vía a hospital para estabilizarme. Y también por su buen juicio en no llevarme a Mercy Hospital, aún cuando vivo solo a 7 minutos. Me dijeron "allí no te van a atender bien". Esa fue la primera vez en todo este proceso que me di cuenta que estaba yendo al lugar incorrecto. Que terrible era ver la cara de impacto de los médicos del lugar en donde me llevaron, porque no entendían cómo se habían saltado tantos protocolos conmigo. PERO EL COMENTARIO MÁS DOLOROSO DE ESCUCHAR FUE EL DE LOS MÉDICOS CUANDO ME ESTABAN DANDO DE ALTA "SI DESEAS SALIR EMBARAZADA UNA VEZ MÁS Y VIENES A ESTE HOSPITAL, TE PROMETEMOS QUE ESTO NO TE VUELVE A PASAR, TE PEDIMOS DISCULPAS DE PARTE DE TODOS LOS MÉDICOS QUE QUE ESTAMOS PREPARADOS PARA HACER LAS COSAS BIEN, USTEDES LO HICIERON TODO". Mi hijo falleció en mis brazos, le faltaba una semana para ir a NICU, cada cita médica después de este evento es más doloroso, porque nos damos cuenta que a mi hijo se le quitaron las oportunidades de vivir gracias a la falta de intervención de cualquier persona del equipo de Bayshore. SI CUALQUIERA HUBIESE DADO LA ATENCIÓN QUIZÁS MI HISTORIA FUERA OTRA Y MI VIDA NO HUBIESE CORRIDO PELIGRO. Yo se este grupo médico tiene muchos casos de éxito, pero tampoco soy la única que ha sido terriblemente atendida. A mi me ignoraron y discriminaron por completo, quizás me faltaban seguidores en las redes sociales.
