Reading the negative reviews on Google a now here and, seeing what I saw within the time, I was there it stems back to the manager Reagan. Six or more people left from the time I was there from October till end of February, where they made it very known of the mistreatment and bad management style coming from Reagan specifically. I can contest from experience that the place won't get any better until they re-staff With a better manager. This place is asking for a lawsuit against her treatment, all because one manager has to be a control freak, nasty condescending attitude acts of a child while she's 2x times older than the people she manages and treats them including my self like their lesser then children half the time. Her character is completely out of line to her employees, so much so to the point she should have to step down from management or just straight up be fired. You also can only hope this place realizes that sooner than later. If I could give a negative five stars to the management and in particularly one being spoken about I absolutely would be doing that & hopefully someone that matters within Bob Evans see this and looks into it and observes just how many people have left and will continue to leave all because of bad management and ethics It's so pathetically sad she must be really miserable

The general apathy and lack of heart in their work and product is causing critical damage to their reputation. It has almost totally changed since the name Bob Evans meant anything. All the food showed up cold after waiting 45 minutes for it. All the sausage tasted funky and was burned on one side frozen on the other. The sweet potato was charred on the outside and cold in the middle. We couldn't even eat when the food arrived because there wasn't any silverware wrapped and ready to use. Further visits will not be forthcoming. Save the calories and their flippant attitude at your overwhelming dissatisfaction. Save yourselves. Avoid the Bob Evans in Mason, West Virginia at all costs. Farewell.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).
