Amazing store, I love it! The one in Monroeville is bigger and better but honestly I check out both to compare! This place is a true gem!

It's great to pick up what I need quickly and the staff is usually nice and helpful. This is a little niche but one thing I have noticed is if you're coming here for kpop albums make sure to check to make sure they haven't been opened yet because a lot of people will come here and steal the photo cards out of the albums so make sure they're still sealed before you buy them. Everything is pretty averagely priced if not a little on the high side. I used to go to Aldi, but now their prices have risen to be about the same as target so typically if they actually have what I'm looking for I'll go to target instead since it's more convenient. It's nice that they have the Starbucks and the eye doctor place in the target. I got my eyes checked at their clinic before and it was a fairly easy and reasonably priced experience. The glasses selection isn't really that great though so I'd recommending just doing the check up and then waiting to order glasses online.

This particular Costco in Homestead opened in 2007, and it contains many of the same types of products as do other locations of Costco. For several years, my husband and I have been Executive members of Costco, and we have off and on shopped at this Costco. This store includes departments of groceries, electronics, jewelry, appliances, clothing, accessories, health and beauty, books, optical, hearing aid center, pharmacy, food court, gas station, tire center, etcetera. We shop here to stock up on groceries (e.g., chicken, salmon, pierogies, asparagus, caesar salad, and granola bars), household cleaning products (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, and pods for laundry and dishes), and hygiene products (e.g., contact solution). They also have good deal on gift cards, winter coats, computers, and batteries. We think that Costco's products are a high quality and that their prices are low. I often forget to bring my large tote bags from home, so I appreciate that Costco provides free cardboard boxes near the cash registers. The cashiers have always accurately rung up our purchases and politely thanked us.

But 2 Pepperoni slices and a drink for a final total of $5.12 is PRETTY amazing this day and age. For the cost, your getting something that costs a bit above that. It's not Cafeteria pizza bad but it's also not going to make a local hall of fame. In a pinch though, this steal came in SO RIDICULOUSLY handy.

It contains…read moremostly residential homes but also parts of Schenley Park, Frick Park, Carnegie Mellon University, many retail stores, and many delicious restaurants. For many years my husband and I have visited Squirrel Hill, mostly to shop and dine. We always park our vehicle in a garage. We recommend putting a bit more money into the parking meter than you expect to need, because we have seen a police officer writing many parking tickets for vehicles in that garage. Most recently, my husband and I did a self-designed food tour in several restaurants on Murray Avenue and Forbes Avenue. We ate at T-Swirl Crepe, Waffallonia, Amazing Dumplings, Commonplace Coffee, and Hidden Harbor. We also shopped in Panda Supermarket, Chocolate Moose, and Ebisu and spent time in the Carnegie Library. Previously we enjoyed eating at Kiin Lao & Thai Eatery, Ramen Bar, Kyo Matcha, Mango Mango, etcetera. We always appreciate how the business district has a diverse population and international cuisine, is very walkable, and feels safe.

It's because my theme is a progressive dinner style around Asian restaurants. I saw a lot of storefronts on Forbes that were covered with coming soon building wraps. They were all Asian restaurants. That's a good sign. For sure, it's a progress with economic prosperity in this neighborhood. I stayed at an Airbnb with walking distance to the center of the attention. My only gripe was that not many restaurants open on Sunday morning. But I enjoyed my morning stroll alone to witness the fall colors. That's a bonus on this trip. I could never see this sight in Houston Texas, where I'm from.

However, the biggest issue I encountered was the delay in processing my order. Their employees never asked for my birthday when setting up my profile, which meant I never received the birthday gift cards they advertise. When I contacted the store to correct it and asked for the past year's missed offer, the owner (Tom Michael) refused, even though the mistake was caused by their own staff. Instead of honoring the gift card I should have received, I was only offered a donation made "in my name" to a charity. While that may sound generous, it doesn't solve the original problem, and it left me feeling like the store wasn't willing to take responsibility for their own oversight. It was a very small request and could have been resolved easily with good customer service, but it wasn't. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend shopping here or trying to resolve any issues directly with the owner. There are plenty of other stores that value their customers and stand behind their promotions.

Now they have and it's a fun place to go shop, eat and drink. My favorite places in there are Novo Food Hall, Askin Brewery, Heibers, City Winery and Shake Shack. You can get something quick to eat if you lack time before an event at Shake Shack. They have great burgers. Novo is a great place to go and try out all different things from all different Asian foods from Japan, Korea and the Philippines. We've tried several different places and had lots of great dishes. If you need a drink and some good food to wash it down then Aslin is the place to go. They even have trivia nights which are lots of fun. I love going to concerts and City Winery is a fun spot to see a show because it's a small venue which has no bad seats. We have seen. Comedians and concerts there. If you pay in cash at the venue, you can avoid the fees. You can go there for a fun afternoon or a great evening with friends and family.
