I purchased a Tuff Shed in 2015 in the SFV and loved it. I moved to Tehachapi and purchased one in August 2023 and it has been nothing but disappointment, 1) the original installation left me with cracked ceiling beams and a door that would not close. I was told that the original install wasn't good and after several visits, the issues were corrected.... until the first rain when the window started leaking and now a screw on the door handle has broken. I was originally told by Dave, a manager out of Bakersfield, that he would try to make things right and look into my case. I left a message or two but no response. I don't believe I will be using Tuff Shed again. I now have a leaky window to try to seal and a door handle to fix. I can't wait for seemingly more incompetence. read more

We have a four-year-old Tuff Shed situated on a windy knoll in Tehachapi. It's used every day, and used hard. We tromp in and out with dirty boots, store bags of feed and buckets of tools in it, repair equipment and keep heavy implements inside. The floor has held up wonderfully and an occassional moping out proves it still looks good. We have attached shelving on the studs, hung things from the rafters and all remain secure. As an added bonus, it looks good and fits in with the other outbuildings. We highly recommend Tuff Shed - not only because it's a good product, but because of the excellent service we got from the sales and installation folk in Bakersfield. read more

I had bought a Tuff Shed unit in Bakersfield, CA.and had it delivered to my home in Paso Robles, CA. I was very pleased with the delivery and setup. However, as a result of some severe weather some of the roof shingles blew off the roof resulting in water entering the unit. When I contacted the local Paso Tuff Shed dealer I was told that my 7-year warranty had expired by 1 month. To my surprise, they agreed to replace the shingles at no cost! Sheds look beautiful. Great quality. What made it great was the sales team. I walked in wanting to purchase 2 sheds, but didnt know where to begin. Feeling like I could make the decision on my own, I went further down the rabbit hole of options. I was overwhelmed. I figured I would just leave and order it online. Just before I gave up and left, I was stopped, led by a knowledgeable sales and design consultant, and purchased both sheds on the spot. I was updated on the process and their staff was patient and informative. Great sales people are best when they are honest and connect a consumer with the product they desire. Let me start first by saying I bought a Tuff Shed 11 years ago and it still looks and works great, new coat of paint and it looks like new. I wanted a matching one so I visited the Bakersfield Tuff Shed location. Getting what I wanted and taking my money went very smoothly ($5500.00) and I was told 10-14 days out until install. Received a text they needed 4 gallons of paint for the exterior and 2 gallons for the trim. I'm a painter and a 10x10 shed cannot use that much paint and all my texts were returned with "I'll talk to my GM" finally it was agreed 4 gallons & 1 gallon, due to price I bought a 5 gallon bucket thinking I would have extra for my other shed. I dropped off the paint and over 2 weeks later no responses to emails so I went to the shop and asked when my shed was going to be delivered and found out it wasn't even painted yet but could be installed that Friday, I guess its a good thing I stopped in or I might still be waiting. Now my shed is completed and its AWESOME but they want me to sign off on it, I asked for my extra paint to be returned and "I will ask my GM" response again. I still don't have my extra paint so even though the shed itself is great and the sub-contractors they used to install it did a great job I would probably go to Home Depot if I was to get another one. I'm at Home Depot in Tehachapi looking at sheds. Just got turned off Inspecting them. Of The two Tuff Sheds I am looking at; one has a warped door and the other has a missing piece on top roof. For such an expensive brand, I would think these would be in perfect condition. I have a Dry Creek shed that has been in excellent condition for 14 years now. Check them out consumers. read more

I would have put 0 stars if it was there. So sorry I went with this company. Started my purchase in 9/2017 with down payment. I was told 3-5 months. It's 4/16/2018 I still don't have a completed garage. I only have slab by the way, that wasn't included in the cost of the building and that cost me $6000+ over cost of structure. I have all county permits and now they (tuff shed) say I need to pay more for changes the county wants in the vents. The company representatives are not knowledgeable in what is necessary for their buildings. This should have been addressed originally in plans not 8 months later. Very poor I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I would have cancelled but I paid a down payment and signed contracts. Plus now I have a $6000+ slab and still NO GARAGE!!! read more

had a few different bids they were the best bang for the buck, only downfall is that they are not very good at returning calls. and are very slow. my building looks great but all the work was subbed out. only thing tuff shed does is pull permits and do your drawings on there cookie cutter garages. read more
