This place is amazing! It's like a kitchen fantasy for all of us foodies! They have the brands and looks that help make a kitchen a home. I totally want the yellow stove! It just opened, and the grand opening was this weekend, but I stopped by the Best Buy it is located in for something else earlier this week and wandered through. The sales staff was so nice to me and took extra time to see if there was anything I needed without making me feel like I was hovered over, it was really conversational and nice. If I were in the market for a new kitchen I would definitley stop here, it makes the other appliance places look unorganized and like they dabble in appliances. We need a LOT of appliances here in Cali after our move and thanks to our research and Yelp, we were steered here to Best Buy to have a look. This was our second time in so we knew where to go and what we had been looking at. We were helped almost right away and the adviser never left us until the deals were made! We purchased a washer, dryer and a fridge. The items are priced so you can see what the deals are and how much percentage can be taken off. (10% in most cases) We got 15% off based on buying 3 high end items. The workers are not on commission, they must produce and share bonuses. The prices are not bargain basement but very competitive to other appliance stores and we did have great, patient, friendly service. Our guy was very knowledgeable with 35 years experience so it made our trip in all that much better. We have confidence in what we bought. If you want to settle for a floor model, (scratch and dent), there is a lot of choice at this store. Look for the yellow tags. The appliances range from lower end to high end but no junk. Something for everyone with all budgetary needs. Free delivery in town. Free connections with free standing appliances. (NOT dishwashers, built in ovens, microwaves) A bit of a bummer there. It is about $100 for hook ups where they hire someone and send them out (sub contracted workers) Collect Buy Buy reward points. Also, apparently come on Black Friday for the BEST deals. Keep an eye out for rebates, certain appliances will give you money off your utility bill. (mail in with PG&E) Also, if the item goes on sale within 15 days, you can get a refund back to your credit card. YOU have to keep an eye on this though. Visit the store after your purchases, it could be worth the drive. All in all, a good experience and we will return for the other 4 items we need. Would recommend to all to go in and have a look. Not everything is stainless steel, you can get white, black, red. I love the mock kitchens to give you an idea of how things would look. They did a great job setting this up! read more

Bought an LG refrigerator from Pacific Sales inside Best Buy. Service from the manager was wonderful; however, after finding water in the refrigerator regularly over the first few months I called Pacific Sales service. They found the door was not sealing and told me they had to order a new one. A week later I get a call telling me my appointment (which I was never made aware of ) was cancelled because the parts would not be in for another six weeks. I told the rep that food was spoiling and the refrigerator was running non-stop. She said she would look for an alternative and call back. Two weeks later I called them and spent the day getting the run around from Pacific Sales and LG. Needless to say they are making me wait six weeks for repair of a six month old refrigerator with a 5 year warranty. Beware Pacific Sales pricing may be good and their sales staff nice but their service does not back that up. read more

Martin at Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home has been absolutely fantastic to work with. We purchased a new washer and dryer set and when it was delivered one of the pedestals had some damage to the drawer from shipping. The delivery person contacted the store and advised of the problem. I was contacted by Martin within 5 minutes and he advised he would be at my house within the hour to change out the drawer front. Sure enough, he delivered and resolved the issue. We also had an issue with the rebate on the washer through California Water Service Company. To make a long story short Martin made it right and took care of us in a quick and professional manner. If you are thinking about purchasing any type of new appliances, do yourself a favor and go see him first. read more

We have been working on a remodel for several months which can be very stressful, and you know we went to every store in Bakersfield and in the Los Angeles area. We ended up purchasing our appliances from the Pacific Sales in Bakersfield because of there tremendously good service especially from our sales person David Rutola. He was so helpful because of his appliance knowledge and made us feel so relaxed because he did not pressure us at all. We ended up even buying a washer and dryer that we weren't even looking to buy so glad we did because we love our new Samsung set. By the way our Kitchen appliances were KithcenAid. read more

Two stars is all I'll give my experience with Pacific Sales. I have bought all my appliances from Lowe's in the past, all were Frigidaire. I finally got around to replacing my stove this year. I wanted a stainless steel Frigidaire electric stove with glass cook top. On Black Friday BestBuy had one for $449.00. Most stainless steel stoves run in the $600 to $700 range. So I went in on Saturday night (it was on sale the whole week end, not just Black Friday) and found all the sales people sitting around. A lady got up and came over to me and I told her I wanted to buy a stove. She started asking some questions and I said I want this stove and pulled out a copy of their ad. She said "great, let's go write it up." Which is what we did. As we completed the paper work she just got kind of short with me and said "there you go, thanks, goodbye" It was not like there were other customers waiting. There were plenty of other salesmen sitting around talking with each other. It just left a bad feeling with me. Anyway the stove was delivered on the following Tuesday, just as I was told. They called the night before and told me they would deliver it between 11:00AM and 3:00PM. I got a call about 12:30PM and they said they would be at my house in about 30 to 45 minutes. Which they were. The stove was still in the box and I watched them cut it open and they brought it into the house. They removed my old stove and carried it out to the truck. Then the main delivery man came back into the house to set up the new stove. He put the new cord on it and pushed it back into the opening in the counter. He then turned on all the burners and showed me that they all worked. Then he got out the invoice and had me sign it that there was no damage to my house, to the stove and that it was installed. He must have said about three words in all the time he was there. Very quiet. And they left. Well the stove was sitting about 1 inch lower than the counter and about 3 inches from the wall, and it still had all this blue protective film on the stainless steel panels. The instruction book was still taped inside the oven along with a tube of the special cleaner for the cook top and another plastic bag that I will get to later. (It's a good thing the delivery man didn't turn the oven on or the whole thing would have gone up in smoke.) I had to get back to work, but when I got home that night I read some of the installation instructions and found out that the stove has four leveling feet. So I removed the lower drawer and found them. I adjusted them and brought the stove up even with the counter top. I also moved moved the AC cord that was stuck between the wall and the stove and brought it down into the opening where it is supposed to be and moved the stove back about 2 inches against the wall. This should have been done by the delivery crew! Then I pulled off all of that blue protective shipping film. This should have been done by the delivery crew. Also in the oven with the instruction book was another plastic bag which contained an anti-tip bracket that is supposed to be screwed down to the floor and one of the stoves back feet is slid into it to prevent the stove from tipping over. This should have been installed by the delivery crew, but wasn't! The stove works great and looks great in the kitchen now that it's level with the counter and pushed back against the wall. The reason for the two stars is the poor installation by the delivery crew. They were young guys and they also deliver the televisions for BestBuy so appliance installation is probably not their strong suit. I used to deliver televisions for a small independent TV and appliance store. When we delivered TVs and appliances we always went through the controls with the customer before we left. I guess that kind of service is long gone now. read more
