Apparently, none of that mattered. When we walked in, the woman at the front desk was on the phone. We understand people have to answer calls, but basic customer service costs nothing. She never looked up, never smiled, never acknowledged that we had entered, and made absolutely no effort to let us know someone would be with us shortly. We wandered the showroom for more than 35 minutes waiting for assistance. Finally, my husband politely walked back to the front desk, quietly said, "Excuse me," and asked if there was anyone else who could help us. She pointed at the phone, completely ignored his question, and continued her conversation as though we didn't exist. Not even a simple, "Someone will be with you in a few minutes." It was obvious that helping a customer on the phone was more important than the customers who had taken the time to come into the showroom ready to make a six-figure purchasing decision. The complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and common sense was astonishing. We left without buying a single thing and will gladly spend our money somewhere that actually values its customers. Losing over $100,000 in business because an employee couldn't be bothered to acknowledge people standing in front of her is an incredible failure in customer service. Based on this experience, I would never recommend this business to anyone.

We ended up taking out an fha 203k loan when we purchased to get a jump start on the biggest projects. We had contacted 4 businesses in town for bids. 1 said they couldn't touch a kitchen for less than $50,000. 1 never showed up to the appointment for estimates. 1 was 3 hours late and then bid us very general figures and wouldnt get specific. DA construction was the only company that broke things down line by line, had reasonable pricing, and a personable project manager. We ended up going through this process to get the loan and needed lots of signatures and stuff from the company. Our project manager was always really polite and never complained even when our lending agent dropped the ball and created delays, extra paperwork, etc that effected our project. We ended up deciding on a kitchen remodel, a closet remodel, a new sliding door to the master, and a few other very minor tweaks (adding a few outlets, etc). I had a vision that was pretty good, but we worked together to brainstorm a few of the design solutions that I'm absolutely loving! We were working with a fairly tight budget and I'm also really hands on when it comes to DIY (I like to do some of my own house stuff! It's part of the fun) so we installed the floors, painted the walls, bound the appliances we wanted, and did most of the baseboard ourselves. DA did everything else and I love the way it turned out. There were a few delays and minor bumps along the way, but our project manager ALWAYS made sure we were happy with the end result. Overall it was a good experience!
