This is my second Tuff Shed. I had put together what I wanted on their site and the next day Kelvin Mathis called and said he had an even better deal. I had ordered the 8x12 Garden Ranch. They were on their last day of a special and if I wanted to get the Premier Garden Ranch I could get the radiant barrier, steel foundation and one foot higher height AND a 7yr warranty:) Sold! I changed a couple of things and Kelvin made it go right right away in the paperwork. Any questions I had he answered straight away. I can't wait for it to get here! Had the old shed removed (Tuff Shed does offer this service but I had a friend do it for me) and I have to get a tree removed that would be too close and then it will arrive. This is the second Tuff Shed building I've purchased over the years and I've been completely satisfied both times. This time around I wanted a smaller size shop that would well on my lot. I actually visited the retail location in Clearwater and worked with Ryan Hix. While it helped that I knew exactly what I wanted, Ryan made sure we covered all the details and caught that I wanted to use my rafters for storage, suggesting a loft-style truss that gave me TONNES of storage. The quality and function of the building is top notch just like before and even the pre-painted option came out looking so good we've just decided to paint the house the same colours. When I have questions (like needing the paint code) Ryan has picked up the phone and helped me out every single time. Before buying this building from Tuff Shed I thought I'd shop around to see if any good competitors had hit the market in the 15 years since my last Tuff Shed building. UPDATE: they tried overcharging me by $2K. It took me a week to get someone to respond to me and when they did they texted me sorry we will get the fixed and rebill you. Run from this Shed Company!! There are too many options to get stuck with this company. I purchased a $30K shed from them on May 8th. They didn't get even get it to permitting til July!! Then the permit application was full of errors when they charged me $2800 to do the permitting. So it went back into permitting 3 times til errors were fixed. It is now 09/11 and the installation guys just told me that they won't be back for 3 days so there it sits. Then I have the weekend, so won't get final inspection for a week more. I have tried to call and find someone to help at Tuff Shed, and at one point the Sales manager was talking to me, just apologizing, not helping and now he is ghosting me. There isn't anyone to help you once they take your money and lock you into a contract. I said I was going to wait til they were finished to send this because this company will probably delay my finish now. Terrible all around!! Shop your project around to other shed companies. You will regret this one. UPDATE: Shed failed final inspection because they used 6" anchor bolts when plans call for 8" bolts. We are now coming up to 5 months since I hired them to build a shed!!! read more

I am in the process of performing a room addition on my house and am doing a refi cash out loan for addition. Long story short, I have been waiting THREE weeks for Tuff Shed to take get the notice of commencement terminated and get the lean off my house so I can move forward with the room addition. I have sent probably 20 emails back and forth with little to no progress. Many times I have to send 3 or 4 emails to get one response. When I was in the process of buying the shed, I would receive a response instantly... funny once the shed is bought and paid for the response time falls off the face of the earth. Dissatisfied with the Area Sales Manager, Ken Rechnitzer. We had been corresponding about him going out to review the property where we wanted to install the Tuff Shed. During this correspondence, which was daily, we decided on a time he could come out and take a look. We then found out we needed to get concrete slab poured and work out the financing with Home Depot. During this time I guess their promo ended and when I went in to make the purchase it was now almost 2k higher then the original quote. Mind you, only maybe 7 days has passed at this time. They are refusing to honor the original quote stating, nothing can be done. If you want the business I think you'd honor the quote. I can understand if I came back months later and wanted something honored but were talking a week and we have been in correspondence this entire time. Very unhappy that I know have a concrete slab and no shed to be able to install on it. Poor customer service selection for Tuff Shed and Home Depot! read more

We're very pleased with our new Tuff Shed. It's much better quality than all the other sheds that we looked at and compared. Though slightly more expensive, the additional quality is well worth the additional cost plus it's the only shed that I'm aware of with a 7-year warranty. There's no comparison. Don't buy from Tuff Shed! We purchased a $1400 shed from Tuff Shed, Clearwater. Lance was our sales person and was knowledgeable. Installation was scheduled and the shed was installed in less than 3 hours. Five short months later, we have 2 corners sinking into the ground. Tuff Shed isn't standing by their installation. They want to charge me another $150 to come out and fix their installation. I have tried to reach the manager twice over the last 2 weeks - no response. The product is too expensive for poor installation and poor customer support. Go somewhere else. read more

I would not recommend this place to NO one. I order a shed and when they finally assembled it and was put in my Backyard there was nothing but issues. I have called Mike the Assnt Mgr along with staying in contact with my sales rep Ryan Nix and as of Today, the She is still not fully completed. The Corner Rounds have cracks where moister and water will be able to get into and the base by the roof has separation which is WRONG. I sure love the new shed. It's without a doubt much better quality than all the other sheds that we shopped around and checked. Of course it's a little more money but well worth the extra. The doors are the best doors you'll ever get in a shed. The other thing I want to mention about this purchase is the professional manner our salesperson Ryan had. He knew the product and was very pleasant to work with. Although the shed is high quality I had one issue with it. And that was the structural 2x4's on the walls didn't line up from a wall to the opposite wall. Makes it hard to add shelving if you want to run a 2x4 from one side to the other. The ordering of the shed was very straight forward and the sales person Peter George was very helpful.He scheduled the install for the following week. They were 2 hours late and did not call. I called the office and then they called me shortly after.They told me they had trouble with the truck and they worked on the shed and completed it in the afternoon.When they left they forgot their caulking gun on the roof of the shed and did not clean up around the outside of the shed. There were water bottles, building scraps etc. They left globs of white paint on the ground and with the rain it was hard not to track it in the shed. The big rains came and I found out the window was leaking a whole lot! The door handle was loose due to a broken screw and the outside window trim was cut uneven. I called Peter and he scheduled them to come back out the following Friday. They came in the afternoon and Daniel explained the window leaked because this was a new model and needed to be turned sideways and open from left to right not up and down. He told me he found this out the next day after the initial shed install. I wondered why they wouldn't of just called me and come back out to install the window correctly. They reinstalled the window and fixed the door handle and left wet paint again on the side of the shed. I took care of it. Bottom line. I really like the shed now! I did not care for the lack of customer service with scheduling, communication and the quality of the above mentioned work that was performed.
