First of all the worst most unprofessional shop I've ever dealt with. I had a rear wheel clyinder, front shocks, steering gear box, oil pump gasket, oil pan gasket, and a drive shaft carrier bearing replaced. I was qouted 3 days of work, it took 8 days plus a weekend. When I picked up the truck the oil drain plug was loose, the air/oil mixing tube was disconnected, the rear drum brake was not put back together correctly, and the electrical plug for my rear abs was disconnected. I had to take it back for them to fix all of that. The day after I was leaving for south Carolina and I only made it to Marysville OH. My truck started to pour smoke out of the back of the truck I pulled over at a gas station and oil was coming out of the oil pan. If you are in need of any auto repair I would highly suggest going elsewhere. On top of the horrible service I never received a phone call from tuffys during the repair process. I only recived a call when they said it was done. I will never use tuffys again atleast not in fort wayne, IN. I am currently waiting on a tow truck. read more

We have been taking several different vehicles here for probably close to a decade. They are courteous, helpful, and always explain everything and are upfront about the cost before performing any work. There have been multiple times I have taken a vehicle in for something minor - warning light, stuck nuts on tires, etc. - and they will do what they can without charging anything. Can't recommend this location enough! read more

I had a broken tailpipe hanger and they got it fixed about 2 hrs after I brought it in without an appt. They didn't have the oem type rubber hanger, but the piece they used works fine. Inexpensive repair bill. read more

The customer service here is above and beyond other shops. Our van wouldn't start and they drove to my spot and tried to fix it to save me the towing fee. They couldn't diagnose it there so they had it towed to their shop where they found the problem and got it fixed for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys above anyone else! read more

Worst auto service I have ever received, I just asked for a simple alignment and they tried to charge me $300+ stating that the way my car is designed it can't be aligned unless they buy a new part that is adjustable. I knew that was bs because I had it aligned before without issues so I told them no thank you I'm going to get a second opinion elsewhere. They ended up doing the alignment without telling me saying it turned out it didn't need the part and it was good to go. I drove it home and almost wrecked my vehicle was swerving side to side way worse than it was when I dropped it off. It was a sat so I couldn't bring it back until Monday so I took it to another mechanic who said there was a bad part in my vehicle and the alignment must of broke it so I needed a new part and new alignment. I got the part replaced and it still kept swerving due to needing an alignment again. I told tuffy that Monday and they drove my car stating they have no idea what's wrong with it and had to GOOGLE it to find out and couldn't find anything. I told them cool just give me an alignment and they promised it would be done that day. I called right before they closed and they hadn't even started on my car yet and it wouldn't be done until the next day. Thanks tuffy ended up without my car for a week and spent $600+ when I just needed an alignment. read more

I have been going to this place for 15yrs . anything from a simple oil change .to you just describe the issue or sound &they no what to look for . plus of just telling you they have taken me out to show me the issue & thing s to keep & eye on for future problems,this is the 1st place that has ever done that..they also have a free courtesy service which takes the stress out of trying to get a ride if you can't find one if they do have to work on it a day or two. Willie and all his guys are very respectable and know what they are doing it doesn't seem to matter who I get to look at or trucks and cars which makes a lot of difference . They have coupons and discounts and their prices are very reasonable and I also work with you if you're having trouble pay all at once. If there was six stars ever give them six. In all my years of going to them I have never had any problems I've taken three different cars to them and two different pickup trucks I have referred plenty of friends and family and it doesn't even matter the location, but I usually go to the Stellhorn location cuz it's closer to me. At one point last year my truck got stuck in neutral I had it towed in all they did was lube something and they didn't even charge me for that that was awesome. Great staff read more
