I was qouted 3 days of work, it took 8 days plus a weekend. When I picked up the truck the oil drain plug was loose, the air/oil mixing tube was disconnected, the rear drum brake was not put back together correctly, and the electrical plug for my rear abs was disconnected. I had to take it back for them to fix all of that. The day after I was leaving for south Carolina and I only made it to Marysville OH. My truck started to pour smoke out of the back of the truck I pulled over at a gas station and oil was coming out of the oil pan. If you are in need of any auto repair I would highly suggest going elsewhere. On top of the horrible service I never received a phone call from tuffys during the repair process. I only recived a call when they said it was done. I will never use tuffys again atleast not in fort wayne, IN. I am currently waiting on a tow truck.

I was there in December and it took forever and the computers were down. Today I went to get my…read more"free" tire because I bought the road hazard protection. It took just under TWO hours to get one tire. I had an appointment. They also did an inspection. At the end they wanted to charge me $53 for putting on my new tire and road hazard protection on the new tire. They said "the tire is free but not the installation and balancing." What good would a tire do without it put on? Should I have taken it home and made a swing out of it? I'm never going back to this location. SLOW and there's always some computer issue.

Frustrating, Incompetent, and Costly…read more I've had an extremely disappointing experience with this shop. After paying $1,200 for repairs, I was given the runaround for weeks. First, they diagnosed a transfer case issue, so I sourced the part myself to save money. Then, they claimed it was the drive shafts--I ordered those too, only for them to tell me they were the wrong ones after days of delays. When I finally went to pick up my Jeep, they told me it wouldn't reverse and suggested it might be the transmission. After weeks of wasted time and Uber expenses, the assistant manager later claimed their mechanic "didn't know how to drive a manual." Seriously? Randall Cleveland, who I spoke to, seemed distracted and unaware of my payments or the actual issues. The lack of communication, constant misdiagnoses, and unprofessionalism make it impossible to trust their work. After all this, I have to take my car elsewhere just to verify their repairs. Save yourself the headache--find a more competent shop. They are ok for oil changes, anything else go to a real mechanic shop.

I took my daughters car in to have it checked for ABS error codes (that a local auto parts store…read moreid'ed with a scan) and to have TPM sensors replaced. Unfortunately, it appears the tech at the parts store cleared the error codes, so the ABS will remain until it triggers another error. The tire sensors were changed and the pricing was exactly what they said it would be. I will use this shop again for our other vehicles.

I went to Kruse for an oil change today. My engine light is on and I didn't mention it to them. A little background - I took my car to Tom Kelly Buick a month ago and without even diagnosing, Kelly said they were "positive" the catalytic converter needed to be replaced (not even 60,000 miles on the car) and gave me a quote of about $2700 - just for the part. I felt Kelly was not being honest with me so I did not acknowledge their quote. Today, Kruse proved me right! Not only did Kruse give me a specific reason related to an exhaust leak (which isn't even CLOSE to what Kelly would have robbed me for). Kruse went way above what I expected with their HONESTY!!!
