I must say I'm shocked to be the first person to review this seemingly popular laundromat! It's quaint, clean, and has a nice, comfy two-seater sofa to sit on while you wait! Of course, there are a few more sitting spaces as well, if the couch is full. Additionally, there are vending machines for laundry detergent, should you forget to bring some, and be mindful that they only take cash (£1, £5, and £10).
Some positive things to note were the free WiFi, the laundry basins for transporting your stuff from the washers to the dryers, the friendly, helpful, and attentive staff, and its proximity to a variety of cafes, should you need some nourishment.
On the negative side, I found the price to be pretty steep. At £5 for one load in the large washer, and £1 for every 6 minutes in the humongous dryer, I'm certainly glad I pay for a flat that has a working washer! Maybe that seems typical to you routine laundromat-goers. I don't know... I'm a novice.
All in all, I am glad to have had this place as a back-up during a very hard time in my life where I didn't have a working washing machine. read more
