However, there are those few times where you can rest easy knowing you helped someone out while they are going through easily the most difficult time of their life. Having to go take care of this kind of stuff only days after your father passes tragically and be denied access to his belongings due to "procedures". You'd have to be just naturally heartless and enjoy being a dick!!! My RA contacted the police department so a tow truck could come out. When he got there, he said, 'Where's the police?' I said I don't know, we had a flat. The spare has been let down but the ground is too soft and the jack kept sinking. This gentleman charged me $255.00 to change a flat! My boyfriend is a tow truck driver in Shreveport. He told him Man just call your dispatch and tell them this was not a police tow the only thing you have to do is change the tire. He refused to do that and said it doesn't matter the price will be the same. Needless to say, he had to call someone else out because he didn't want to listen to what another man was telling him to do. The other gentleman came out and changed the tire in less than 3 minutes. I pray I never have to use this towing company again! The only thing that stopped us 4 ladies from changing the tire was that we had no boards for the jack to go under!

The MAIN PROBLEM I have is that their flat bed tow truck puked a HUGE oil stain on my pristinely clean driveway! I called tow truck driver Brett Guedry, and no call back. They've hit the ignore button on me. In light of this, I would NOT RECOMMEND calling Ascension Towing & Recovery! In spite of the blatant overcharge, they've now put me to work on a half a day driveway clean-up operation in 100 degree heat and humidity! Brett Guedry, if you are reading this, you need to send a custodian to professionally clean up my driveway where you soiled it, or call me and offer a credit for damaging my driveway and putting me unnecessarily to work on a huge clean-up operation! HELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE TIP: Tell your potential clients your flatbed tow truck leaks live a sieve, and suggest they push their car to the street, where NO ONE cares if the street gets oil stained!
