The guy behind the counter told me that it would be ready at 4pm on Friday. I told him I needed it FOR Friday and he said he could expedite it for free and have it ready for me on Thursday past 4pm. I said great, he got my information, and I left. Thursday after 4pm I dropped in, they knew who I was and had my order ready. It felt really good that, even though I'd never been there before, they remembered me and knew when I'd be there. The manager (owner?) was really nice. It seems like a family-owned business who takes customer service seriously. Which, I suppose, is a really good thing in this day and age, for a dry cleaner. I just moved to Little Rock last year and this is the first time I've needed one, but it's good to know next time I need one, Oak Forest Cleaners is there for me.

I had the bedspread cleaned twice before in Houston, TX; but neither cleaners were able to even come close to removing the stain. I gave up on cleaners close to me because of their reviews. After reading glowing reviews online, I decided to drive an hour away to Oak Forest Cleaners & Laundry in Little Rock. The owner was wonderful! He took the time to personally work on the problem stain. I picked the bedspread up today, drove an hour back home, and ran upstairs to put it on the bed. After getting the runaround with some other local companies, I found Lamar online. I called and they answered on the first ring and then showed up ON TIME that same day to give me a quote which was very fair. The communication is top notch - their automated system sends a text message when they are on their way - and every phone call you speak directly to the owner who will be doing your cleaning. I was very impressed with the care they took in cleaning our carpet. The furniture was moved and put on small styrofoam blocks and the 30+ year old carpet looked great once they were finished. I saw that they also offered dryer vent cleaning using a suction system and reluctantly had them do this for us, though I wasn't convinced it was necessary. They sent a video of the process and the incredible amount of lint that was pulled out of the vent - no wonder there are so many vent fires! I am so glad I added the dryer vent cleanout to the service. All in all a fantastic experience working with Lamar and I would recommend them to anyone.
