    Checking out the nature trail

Such a lovely fall morning to wonder around the botanical garden to take in the beauty of the fall gardens. We walked the loop around the lake, the nature trail and meandered through the garden. It was nice and cool. There was plenty of parking and a cute little gift shop with art by Patrick Gordon.

Tulsa Botanic Garden is a 60 acres living ecosystem that connects people with nature. It is home to a collection of plants, art, and architecture. Within each garden are diverse collections of tree species, shrubs, grasses, bulbs, sculptures, and wildlife that change with each season. In the spring, enjoy the display of daffodils, orchids, and tulips with over 200,000 bulbs in bloom. In the winter, enjoy the beautiful lights display. Each month is a new and exciting adventure to learn, connect, and enjoy nature. Admission cost in 2025: $17.74/adult.

Visited today from OKC and loved it. Beautifully kept. Lots of flowers and local plants and pollinators. We will be back.

Love this place. Although we missed the peak of Tulip blooms, we still saw some beauty. The Botanic Garden is in the midst of a multi-year expansion project. The fruits of that are already plain to see. We are looking forward to attending the summer concerts that they have over the coming summer weeks.

What the water slide was supposed to be.

Beautiful gardens, mediocre water slides. Would come back if I'm in the area. Probably won't be.

Don't let the bit of a drive deter you from enjoying the botanic gardens especially on a beautiful outdoorsy day. There are plenty of paths to take throughout the expansive gardens including the out and back Cross Timbers Nature Trail. This is a family friendly place and hopefully there will be a special exhibit for you to enjoy.

This is mostly a review of the "Garden of Lights" holiday event (running until January 5). We visited the Sunday before Christmas. It was not too crowded but we heard some of the parking attendants talking about the previous night and that it was crazy! The $15 admission price was worth it. (Get tickets online before you go.) I thought the s'more kits were a cool idea and the fire pits were nice on a cold night. Hot beverages were available (with shots for adults). Live music was in the Grange building (only on Sunday nights, I believe) along with the model train display and the wish card station. There was also a craft cocktail bar in the Grange but the line was long. My only meh statement for this entire event was the food truck situation. There was only one truck manned by two people and they could just not keep up. We met one fellow that was just about willing to forgo his $20 for food and walk away after waiting for over 40 minutes. But, back to the spectacular-ness of this place at Christmas. The lights were amazing. I appreciated how they had the "trails" laid out for a leisurely stroll. I am going to add this to our holiday list of to-dos for next year. This also made me want to go back to revisit the garden in the spring. I would love to explore further.

So beautiful, from the lake to the flowers to the landscaping. A great place to get some fresh air and enjoy nature. They have a kid's area too. The flowers are beyond beautiful.

Very beautiful garden. Everything there is very well kept and clean. Was peaceful walking through there. Only gripe was that it was too hot and humid lol but that's of course mother nature.

This place is really beautiful. They are in several construction projects for new phases of development but they have a solid foundation established. Beautiful blooms and design.

The Gate was closed during covid time. Was hoping to at least walk the grounds. Beautiful drive on the way.

They actually care about our properties. Our flower beds needed major landscaping work. The team cleaned out the beds, pruned the plants and mulched. We also had trees and plants outside the flower beds trimmed and removed as well. Grass seed was planted to cover bare spots and it's growing in nicely. They also provide our regularly scheduled lawn mowing. The pricing is reasonable and they are always willing to work within our budget. Our yard at home and our families' properties in Sand Springs and Bixby are looking fantastic! I will recommend Dun' Dirt Cheap Lawn & Landscape to everyone.

I have low swampy areas and the wide expanses are "lumpy." they blamed it on the rain/mud... but they were the ones who chose to do the job when the ground was wet and rain was in the forecast. I pointed out issues along the way and was assured that they would get fixed. even after they were done and I pointed out issues I had, they said they would come back to address them -- but of course didn't. I can't say I'd recommend them for grading or sod laying... if you need something simple, they might do a fine job.
