One side of the room, tickets were being handled while in the middle, you get your drinks & then you move over to the other side of the place, that's where all of the food vendors were at (all local & delicious). In the middle of it all, along with a really big staircase, there was a DJ. Upstairs (during Big Bite) there was an exhibition with all kind of art displays & art installations. There was a great view from up top, especially while I was checking out Tulsa Tough. An all day event that ended with a concert featuring Sports, a band that I listen to heavy. That was in 2023, fast forward to now, there was an exhibition I visited that was hosted by BZRO & it consisted of his denim work & the history of denim. There was even an element of where you can interact with a machine that does the weaving. It was interesting learning the process of making pants & how denim was centuries ago compared to present time.

I've been looking forward to this museum opening since it was announced in 2009. While not very…read morevisually appealing on the outside, I'm excited about the vision to highlight Oklahoma artists and their influence through movies, radio, tv, books, theater, etc. Last I heard, they're hoping to open at the end of 2024, but they have already started hosting events at their facilities. Their staff has been in the building since 2021. They recently had a display honoring James Garner, an actor from Norman. Blake Shelton has been helping them raise money needed to finish the exhibit design, construction and installation. I hope they're able to reach their goal and I look forward to seeing it in its completion.

I attended the show with Kennedy (from MTV). We arrived early for the early show. To kill time we chilled at a table between check in and the spasciou bar. Once the doors opened we joined the line and were easily seated in the second row, facing the stage backwards. I thought I'd hate it but it was okay. Our table mates were quite amiable. Every person must order two items. We ordered the special margaritas and they were spectacular. So much so, we ordered again. Not so great the second time, but our waitress understood and promptly corrected. As for the offered food -- we observed our table mates' deliveries and they looked like carefully spruced up frozen items. Not bad. The "Meet & Greet" went smoothly with the graciousness of Kennedy and the club's setup. I can't wait to go again.

throughout the years i've been at cain's ballroom, it's been on different occasions. one of the…read morefirst times ever was during a whiskey tasting called giving spirits. that was one of the first times being part of something like that & i really enjoyed myself. during that time, i started attending tastings outside of cain's ballroom & that event played a part. another occasion was seeing mac miller live in concert. his set alone was close to 2 hours, he absolutely crushed his set! outside of mac miller, cain's hosts A LOT of artists that you couldn't think of. if you ever want to come close to coming in contact with the performers, they usually hit the bars on the street to get a taste of how the city gets down (it's happened numerous times during open mic events at neighboring bars for the past couple of decades). something major is that local acts perform here as well, whether they're opening for another act or they're hosting their own show. one of the more recent occasions was being part of a fundraiser. that was maybe the the first time i've ever had people place bids on my artwork. it was a different experience that i enjoyed, seeing what all people had in-store (i wanna say the event was the chili cook off that cain's hosts yearly). all in all, i've had nothing but positive experiences here. when you ever get a chance, look up the history behind this place.

It has…read morebeen held annually for 15 years by the India Association of Greater Tulsa (IAGT) and it is usually in late August on a Saturday at the Expo Center. Last year the timeframe was 11am to 5pm. It is a wonderful FREE family event. You can enjoy cultural displays, colorful dance performances, information booths, kid's fun activities, sports booth and camel rides. The booths include anything from nonprofits to vendors with clothing, jewelry and pottery. My favorite thing is their clothing sales. They have a wonderful collection of traditional Indian clothing at affordable prices as well as a Henna booth. The best part is the delicious food available for purchase from local area India restaurants. The food is representative of different regions of India. The event setup is easy to navigate and you can just walk around and explore all the different offerings. The performances are amazing. Kripalaya Dance Academy never disappoints. Their Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dances are not something you should miss!

The dipping sauce it came with was very good. I am comparing them to Chili's however and Chili's is still my number one for this type of food. My friend had chicken strips and said they were good others got pizza and loved it so I think across-the-board the food is good. I've had their funnel cake fries before and love those. I like that it's a fun environment and that there's lots of options. Our lane for bowling was having some issues and I mentioned it to the guys and they gave us some extra time which I appreciated, but this is a really fun space for all ages and all people.
