However, recently I've noticed the 1/2 off one item (monthly) has been eliminated and the top off price had already been reduced from "unlimited" to $100.00 or less. I bought my grandson a stuffed toy at the 51st street store recently. It was priced at $3.00 but had a 1-1/2 " hole in the seam. Yes, it can be repaired, and I could make the necessary repairs, but when I asked for "an adjustment" for the damaged item, I was told by the cashier that "we don't price the items". Prices have been increased and the stores are constantly rearranging the store layout. I usually shop at all the retail stores so this isn't limited to one location. I 'm retired so I especially enjoyed Senior Day. I never even made an effort to attend the last two sale days. There are many other used merchandise stores in Tulsa so I have other options.

It has a fairly small entrance but inside, holy moly this is the biggest Goodwill I've ever shopped in. They have a HUGE selection of clothes, especially. Tons of nice clean dressing rooms, too. Very little furniture and not a lot of housewares. I like shopping here, and always find several great items. However, I HATE their book pricing. Instead of a price like $1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardcover, etc, it is 70% off the publisher's original price - which is still pretty high. That means instead of a few bucks you might be paying $6 for a novel at Goodwill. No wonder they have so many books on hand, I know I am not paying those prices when I can get used books cheaper on Amazon. Otherwise it is a really good place for secondhand shopping!

Once I walk in, I see all kinds of eye catching colors & articles of clothing. Clothes on the left wall, right wall & right in the middle... plenty to choose from. What's funny is a day or so before the visit, I was telling myself how I wanted more buttoned short sleeved shirts & I found two at great prices. Both shirts were $10 a piece & there were other pieces I went back & forth on that averaged around $8-15. I look forward to coming back more often because I enjoyed a lot of selections that weren't in my size, which made me on the hunt for more of the inventory whenever it's updated. Goodwill has many convenient attended donation centers around town. This is the one that I frequent…read morethe most. It is open 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. All and donation centers are closed on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. They accept gently used clothing and household items in saleable condition. They do not accept furniture. Check out the list of items they accept and don't accept. Goodwill is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable nonprofit organization. Donations in good condition are tax deductible. After you drop off your donations, Goodwill takes them to their processing center to sort and ship to a Goodwill Tulsa store. Shoppers then buy these items. The sales support jobs, job training and job placement services that they provide which enable people to improve their lives through the power of work. When you donate, you are also doing your part to help the environment: they reuse and recycle items that would otherwise go into the landfill. They didn't have my size. I was sent over here to Meadow Gold Mack (MGM) Route 66 Outpost for the t-shirt I wanted to buy. Thanks Julia! This outpost sits in the same lot as the world renowned Meadow Gold neon sign on Route 66 in the heart of Tulsa, OK. Mack (one of the 5 Giants) was created in the 1960's and stands 20 feet tall. He's a very handsome mack! I spent about an hour perusing the store. My eldest daughter didn't join me inside because she was done with stepping out of the car on the rainy day LOL. Anyway, I found very cool variety of merchandises for sale from local vendors within one big space with fun merchandises, unique and interesting clothing, vintage books and stuff, hand-crafted household items and artwork, Tulsa themed tees, and more. So much creativity that captures the spirit of Mother Road Route 66! The gentleman staff behind the counter was friendly, cordial, and helpful.
