Two women came in having made a reservation and were told they could not enter with a service animal. One woman tried to explain that it was a service animal and it was allowed and the man told her no. They left and returned with a man who more forcefully explained it was allowed and eventually the owner/ manager relented and allowed it but made a big deal about nobody sitting at the table near them because there was a dog. I'm from the US and considered that in Ireland the same non-discrimination laws may not apply, but I just looked it up and service animal are in fact allowed in establishments serving food. I hope Kashmir staff educate themselves and provide more equitable treatment to their guests in the future. Observing this ruined the meal for me, unfortunately.

The noodles themselves were very well flavored and chewy. On top of this, there was a surprising amount of duck throughout the dish. Typically you see the protein being skimped on, but not the case here. I also ordered one of the Pu-erh teas, as this is supposed to be a strong tea and can steep for a long time in very hot water without turning sour or bitter. While the tea was stronger than most of the teas I've had during my vacation in Ireland, it was still quite a lot weaker than expected. We asked for more leaves to be added to the pot but either they didn't actually add any, or didn't add enough to make a difference in the flavor. The waiter said the purpose of the containers is to mimic "Asian street food," but the only thing it mimics is the giant pile of trash 100 meters from the restaurant. Yeah, it's ironic that Neo chooses to use takeaway containers because Galway's monthly trash pile rots on a dock not far from the restaurant. A note to the managers: there exist reusable ceramic "Asian takeaway" containers that could give you a similar culinary authenticity. Doing this would not only add to the customer's experience, but also presumably cut down expenses long-term. Consider alternatives, because, upon visiting your restaurant, your future customers might also do so.

I didn't have much time so I ordered some Tom Kha Gai (warning: mildly spicy) , egg rolls, and steam buns, which turns out are more of a steam bun taco than a round sealed bun I'm used to. It was more food than I was expecting but curbed my cravings for something that wasn't Irish food.
