Very impressed with the food here. We had been having Irish food all week so we wanted to do something different and this didn't disappoint! We got a couple apps and a main dish to split and everything was super affordable and tasted delicious. Very pretty place as well. Service was quick and friendly. If I lived here I would eat here a lot!

Place is beautiful inside. Food was ok not like the Thai food in ny. The Thai waitress was so rude. No clue why Asked her for soy sauce and she slammed it on the table. Either way is a cute mix up for food in Ireland

Right by the Spanish arch the exterior is all stones and ancient but inside it's modern and comfortable. Service was efficient the food came out quickly and was very good. Great place for Thai in Galway

Felt like some good Thai food and had researched some places ahead of my trip, and Thai garden was on my list! Ordered the red curry and a side of white rice. I finished the entire thing! It was really delicious. I won't dock points for this as it doesn't take away from the quality of the food but while I was there, there was a weird banging noise coming from next door or above. It was consistent and loud and the table next to me was also getting annoyed by it. Not sure they were informed what that was but I wasn't so it was just a bit odd. But again, it's the food that's the most important! I'd like to come by again before I leave!

If you are looking to experience amazing Thai Cuisine in the City of Galway, Ireland. I highly recommend Thai Garden.Upon entering I was made feel very welcome. All the appetizers and Entree tasted amazing! Thai Garden is a must visit if you love Thai Cuisine. The restaurant is very clean and has very clean rest rooms. The staff are all very professional and genuinely care about their customers. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Thai Restaurant from all my travels and life experiences. You definitely won't be disappointed. I definitely will return in the near future. Thai Garden rates five stars and more!

It's an excellent Thai restaurant, even without lowering the bar for Asian food considering it's West Ireland. This is really really good Thai food, coming from a Thai-American who has grown up eating Thai. Serving sizes are plenty and prices are reasonable considering that. Dishes are around 13-17 Euros. This is a white cloth table kind of place, but people were wearing jeans and such. Everything we ordered was tasty! Pad See Ew With Beef - stir fried noodles with soy sauce and beef. See Ew means Soy Sauce in Thai. The seasoning of this dish was spot on - most places make it too sweet. I normally don't enjoy this dish because it's basic, but I really liked this rendition. Massaman Curry with Chicken - This is a "Muslim" style Thai curry which comes with peanuts. It's sweeter and a good curry for people who haven't eaten many Thai curries. The sauce was rich from coconut milk, but the flavor from the curry paste was there. Again, a perfectly seasoned dish. Pad Ka Prao Pork - A classic Thai stir fry of pork with chilies, basil and fish sauce. I ordered this Thai spicy and IT WAS! There were three types of chilies in this dish and it was even making me sweat. My guess is that the owners are from Southern Thailand so they're not kidding around here. It was a good portion size and went heavenly on top of fresh steamed jasmine rice. Definitely one of the better Thai meals I've had outside of Thailand and the spiciest meal I've had in Ireland. It hasn't passed 24 hours since I've eaten there and I'm still dreaming about that Pad KaPrao... Service was gracious and quick. They checked in on us to make sure everything was good. If I find myself in Galway again, I'd definitely come back.

They charge an extra €2.50 for rice if you want it. I think that's crazy. Some dishes just need rice but whatever. Rice is cheap af and I think it's absurd. The prices are high enough it should be included. Allow me to step off my rice box for a sec... The food is pretty tasty and of course loads of vegan options as dictated by the cuisine in general. Give it a try once if you're craving Thai.

Good place to mix it up from the typical Irish cuisine. Tom Yam was really good with Prawns.

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

I loved the outdoor seating that allows you to take in the air, the narrow streetways, the buildings that have stood here for centuries. While we could only do outdoor seating at the time due to the COVID-19 lockdown measures, this turned out to be quite the good fortune. Where we sat was a nice spot to see the various people walking down the street, engage in conversation, all the while enjoying a cafe Americano and some tasty baked goods like brownies and shortbread with chocolate on top. If you know where to walk from the Eyre Square, it's a great find, moderately priced, and very tasty eats. Hopefully, the next time I can have some of the hot dishes they also offer when we return to Galway.

What impressed me most wasn't just how delicious everything tasted. Every plate looked like it belonged in an art gallery. We started with the Kelly oysters and Kai's signature Cupla Crab. The crab looked more like a modern sculpture than dinner, and the flavors were every bit as impressive as the presentation. The rainbow carrots may have been the best carrots I've ever eaten. And when a restaurant serves bread as good as Kai's Hapi Bakery loaf with incredible butter, it's easy to fill up before the entrées even arrive. For the mains, Brady's Strip Steak was perfectly charred and incredibly tender, while the signature Black Sole was outstanding. The Andarl pork chop was the only dish that didn't quite reach the same level, as we found it just a touch dry. The oregano potatoes made a hearty side for the table.
