Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The sound quality was poor, the energy was lacking, and the singers looked visibly unhappy--texting during the performance and scowling throughout the night. Several guests even commented on how bad the band sounded, which only added to our frustration. After the event, my ex-wife contacted the management company and received a response--not from management, but from the drummer--claiming that Terrain Gardens wouldn't allow them to use their own sound system and that the singers were upset about it. If that was the case, they should have been upfront about it or declined to perform under those conditions. I'm extremely disappointed that we paid full price for what was clearly a discount performance. At the very least, we deserve a refund for what was an unprofessional and unacceptable experience that cast a shadow over a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

If you're looking for a gardeny, outdoorsy, whimsical location, Bishop Farmstead is definitely the place. Between the food and the service, JAM is really top notch. Anecdotally, one of our harder to please guests even shared that this was the best food they've had at a wedding to date. But we knew the food was going to be excellent from our tasting, which was a total blast in and of itself. Side note: My husband also commented how on the ball the bartender were. I'd like to shout out our fabulous coordinator Gina and her assistant Kayla. Gina felt like working with your most organized friend. She was super communicative and kept our day as worry-free as possible. We decided upgrade to a package that allowed us to use more of Gina's time and I totally recommend spending the extra money on that. I told her my ideal day would involve no decision making, and she made that dream a reality. Unfortunately, there was a medical emergency right as our ceremony began (everyone ended up being okay, thank goodness!). And I have to give a huge thank you to the whole JAM team, but especially Kayla who was on the phone with 911 in no time at all. Multiple people told me how Kayla kept everything under control; we're lucky we had her! We truly had the best day ever, and had the dance party of our dreams. I can't recommend Gina, Kayla, JAM, and Bishops Farmstead enough. I wish we could get married all over again :)

I was the Matron of Honor in my best friend's wedding at Spring Mill Manor, and as someone who…read moreworks in customer service, I was absolutely appalled by the level of disorganization, lack of communication, and overall disregard for professionalism I witnessed from start to finish. Nearly every detail the bride confirmed and signed off on before the wedding was ignored. The bridal suite had dirty champagne glasses and unsafe, wobbly chairs for hair and makeup. Both coordinators were hard to find throughout the day, and when issues arose, they were either dismissed or never followed up on. Guests were served the wrong food (including one with a serious allergy), others didn't receive meals at all, and many didn't even know dessert or coffee was available because there was no announcement. The champagne cart enhancement that was paid for was unstaffed and never used. Even simple things like helping the bride's nephew hand out programs--something I personally spoke to the coordinator about--were completely forgotten. Working in customer service myself, I know how important attention to detail, communication, and accountability are--especially for an event as meaningful as a wedding. What I saw that day was the opposite. The only person who seemed to know what she was doing was Sarah, who genuinely tried to correct issues and assist where others failed. Overall, it was extremely disappointing to watch such an important day unravel due to negligence and poor management.

She and her staff showed up at the location (Or Hadash, our synagogue) the day before the event to set up the tables, table cloths and napkins. We had given them the centerpieces we wanted and they enhanced them with colorful napkin linens. We showed up the next day an hour before guests were supposed to arrive and Annemarie and her staff were already hard at work getting place settings and the food ready. The food had a great presentation, with signs identifying what was what. We had decided not to order cheesecake but my wife had mentioned that was one of her favorites. Annemarie threw in small cheesecakes without charging us for it. We received many compliments from our guests. They did the setup and cleanup and even took the leftover food to our car and loaded it for us. We recommend Annemarie's without hesitation.
