One of the previous reviewers said that your dentist experience can't be a5. Though I agree…read morecompletely, for someone who is deathly scared of dentists, Dr. Choi is more than 5 stars. Yes, I'm a mother. So, yes I've given birth. And yes that was hella painful. But dentist pain is sooo different, therefore, I was scared to death. However, he made me feel so much better about the whole visit. I don't kniw anything about other dentists liking him or how amazing he is with his dentistry skills. All I know is that my routine check up that I've always dreaded was very pleasant with him. My last dentist told me that cleaning is supposed to hurt and that I needed to suck it up. Yeap. That was my last visit to that guy. Dr. Choi made my mind and soul ease up and made it truly and utterly painless. Of course there were uncomfortable moments-it is the dentist afterall-but when he said we were done, I said really? That's it? I moved to va since my last check up. But since I'm back for the holidays, I'm getting my wisdoms pulled. Yeap, using my holiday time to go do that. Risking looking like a chipmunk bc it's worth it. I think I would drive 4 hrs if I had major problems in the future. He's that good in my books. It's hard to find a good dentist. It's so hard to find a caring one at that. I'll post a follow up wisdom and the holidays.

He is effective, acts professional as well as friendly. He is older than the newer and younger korean dentist. He has experience, I have been going to this one and only dentist since I was around 7 years old, now im 24 (over 17 years). he's from top medical school from south korea. His reputation is something I could never doubt.

Dr. Hong is awesome. I drive about 40-50 minutes to go to him because he's the only dentist I've…read morefound that I can trust. He's been my dentist for a few years now. He came from the top medical school in South Korea. He's extremely patient and explains everything to you. And, he does solid work. Let me tell you 2 personal stories about Dr. Hong and you'll get a better idea of who he is. 1. A lot of dentists (especially the younger ones but I find almost all do this) push for unnecessary treatment. It's so obnoxiously obvious how mercenary the industry has become. For example, I had used a Groupon once to get a cleaning and the dentist had said my teeth and gums were horrible. He wanted to do laser cleaning, a root canal, and 2 crowns on 2 molars that "could split any day now". They really try to scare the bejeezus out of you. The bill was going to be thousands of dollars. Dr. Hong took a look. I thought what he said was funny. He said that in a court of law, the other dentist wouldn't be wrong but in reality, the stuff was clearly unnecessary. I guess that's the purpose of a $20 Groupon? 2. Another incident. Dr. Hong is far from where I live. So, a few times, I had gone somewhere local for the sake of convenience. (Sorry, Dr. Hong.) 2 different dentists actually remarked that the work that Dr. Hong did was solid work. One actually criticized work done by different dentist done a long time ago but he complimented Dr. Hong's - said it was impressive because given the position of the teeth, it was really difficult and he would have just taken it out. For other dentists to endorse your work, that really means something in my book. Just to warn you, he's a little old school so, don't expect any fancy procedures. And his assistant who handles his calls speaks broken English but don't worry - Dr. Hong is perfectly fluent in English. You can also ask him about anything and he's totally fine with it. Most importantly, you don't have to worry that Dr. Hong will try to do unnecessary work. I literally trust him 100% that he'll do what's right. He's truly a good person.

I was referred to Dr. Kojanis from my dentist and was very happy with the entire experience…read morestart-to-finish! The office staff were extremely polite and communicative and Dr. Kojanis made sure to take his time and explain every option thoroughly. He was very professional and even followed up with me shortly after the procedure to check in on me! Never had that happen before - SOOO nice! Could not recommend enough!

I went to Dr. Kojanis for masseter Botox, and it was one of the worst decisions I've made. Based on…read moremy experience, I would not recommend anyone trust Dr. Kojanis near your face. About 30 minutes after he injected me in my jaw, I felt a sharp pain and strange effects above my left eyebrow and across the left side of my face. I noticed new wrinkles above my left brow that had not previously existed, and the muscles on the left side of my face felt strained and tight. It felt incredibly invasive to have Botox injected into my jaw and then experience unusual sensations and changes extending all the way up to my brow. And this was after an injection that took him all of about 20 seconds before he was out the door (no real check-in, barely any time spent, just in and gone). I went back the next day after I felt the strange effects on the left side of my face and saw another doctor, who told me that what I was experiencing was not typical. When I brought my concerns back to Dr. Kojanis, I have never felt so dismissed by a medical professional in my life. I described changes that began about half an hour after the injection, and he treated me like I was imagining it. He just insisted whatever I was experiencing had nothing to do with him. Don't just take my word for it, read the messages for yourself. What I find genuinely alarming is that a medical professional would be this unwilling to even consider a possible connection between his own injection and symptoms that began immediately afterward. Because Botox wears off over time, by the time the effects resolve there will be little objective evidence of what I experienced. That makes me feel like my concerns will never be taken seriously. He took my money, refused to refund me, and made me feel dismissed after I raised symptoms that began shortly after the procedure. I trusted him, and I regret it deeply. I also intend to report him to the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry.

However, they showed me a $300 bill at last See details: During a phone call prior to my visit, my boyfriend clearly answered the doctor's query about my insurance status that I did not have insurance. Moreover, before the female doctor asked me to the operation room, I specifically double-checked with her regarding the costs. I explicitly specified that I came solely for an Invisalign consultation. The doctor assured me that the upcoming exams she asked me to do were free of cost. Relying on her assurance, I proceeded with procedures she arranged for me. However, at the end of the visit, I was presented with a bill of $300. The doctor then informed me that she initially assumed I had insurance, and the services were only considered free under that assumption. This situation is highly unsatisfactory, as I feel misled and cheated by the inaccurate information provided by the doctor. Her mistake in assuming I had insurance should not result in me bearing the financial burden of $300 for services that were explicitly promised to be free, and those services were not necessary for a simple consultation regarding Invisalign.
