I recently had a dental emergency and visited Dr. Feins' office in River Vale, NJ, where I learned I needed a root canal and crown. What could have been a very stressful experience turned into a positive one because of the outstanding care I received from the entire team. Dr. Lilivette Gomez, DMD was exceptional. She was compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. Most importantly, she took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood my diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps. Her professionalism and calming demeanor immediately put me at ease. I would also like to recognize Gianni, the dental assistant, for being so thorough, efficient, caring, attentive, and supportive throughout my visit. What really stood out was how seamlessly Dr. Gomez and Gianni worked together as a team. Their communication, coordination, and attention to detail made the entire process run smoothly and ensured I received exceptional care every step of the way. Additionally, Jorge, the dental X-ray technician, was excellent--professional, patient, and efficient. The entire staff at Dr. Feins' practice deserves praise. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely concerned about my comfort and well-being. They were also fantastic in helping me navigate my insurance coverage and handling all the administrative details, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I am truly grateful for the outstanding care I received and highly recommend Dr. Feins' office to anyone looking for a compassionate, professional, and highly skilled dental team. The office Manager Sharon, I think her name is, is a terrible person, rude and without any empathy for those struggling financially. Without regard for approved lab facilities for those in non-traditional health plans. How can a dental medical facility deal with only one lab, no other labs approved for people without out of network coverage. She treated me terribly and would not let me talk to the owner if the practice. She has done sort of power issue. I have been going here with my husband and son for years and I will be leaving the practice because of her. Too bad because I love Dr Gomez whom I have been seeing for the past several years. Very very disappointed and angered by the lack of regard for my son's situation. And just kept saying no we don't deal with any other lab which to me is an insane for any medical practice. Oh and kept saying we're a dentist but dentists are doctors and they have oral surgeons (aren't they doctor too)? I'm so upset that my heart is pounding out of my chest from this experience. To be told flat out NO we can't send your sample to any other lab but the one we use. read more

Yelp steers me right again! I was looking for a local dentist/orthodontist combo and this dr had some pretty decent reviews so I made an appointment. Got a call a day early to say that they had an opening in an hour, so I took it. Office is located in a beautiful house with ample parking. Checking in was a breeze and all the employees were extremely friendly. Equipment seemed to be all new and state of he art. The dental hygienist was extremely thorough and tidy (didn't get sprayed in the face or have a drooling lip). She also did some xrays. The Dr was amazing - super friendly and spent a tremendous amount of time with me. He was able to talk to me about finishing my tooth straightening journey. We did some molds for Invisalign and went over when to expect my results. There was no fee what-so ever to do this. I pay when I agree with the plan. All and all I was 1000% pleased with my appointment from soup to nuts! read more

Went to get a painful and damaged tooth extracted the other day and they removed the wrong f***ing tooth. It's been almost two days and they never once apologized, nor have they offered to refund the $629 dollars I spent for the extraction, or remedy the error in any possible way. In fact, shortly after I left the offices and realized their error when the local anesthetic wore off and the pain returned in my mouth, they attempted to convince me over the phone how they didn't make a mistake at all and had actually removed the right tooth. When I returned to their facility I asked them which tooth they thought they extracted and they said the second-to-last one on my upper left side. I had to show them that, in fact, they removed the third-to-last one instead and that I had explicitly described which tooth was bothering me to them upon my arrival multiple times in detail. They offered to do more dental work on me which I had to refuse out of principle, not being sure what to do at the time. Normally, I don't really bother with any BS social media reviewing but I have to make an exception here because I'm very pissed off and in pain and out a big chunk of money. I hate to do this, but this is malpractice, simply put. They're very lucky that I am not a litigious individual. You were all very nice to me when I arrived and the 90s Yacht Rock music playlist was rather good, I must say. I'll give you that. But you never owned up to your error or made any attempt to make it truly right after almost two days and so I just have to leave this here. A single, solitary star to represent the tooth that is still in my mouth bothering the sh*t out of me. read more

Dr. Gomez and her assistant Evelyn are so kind and caring! They answer all your questions and you don't feel rushed. I recommend them!

Doctor Feins hires cheap dentals assistants from over seas and they do a lousy job. I feel sorry for Beverly and the other Dominican woman in the office, they are always apologizing for telling patients they are covered for certain procedures when they are not. The dental professionals that work under him leave, it's a revolving door because I'm sure he pays like garbage. Dr. Feins is very savy at marketing, marketing experts say if you pose with a dog people with think you are more trust worthy, sure enough he's got a photo with someone's dog. He also pays people to give positive reviews with gift cards, so what ever positive reviews from some third party website he paid the reviewer for it. Just because he is a medical professional does not mean he is willing to fool you and take your money. This guy should be out of business. read more

Went for the first time, mostly based on postitive reviews, but also that it was close by AND had Saturday hours. Bonus points there. So far, so good. I'm not a dentist-o-phobe. Or whatever. The combination of good teeth genes and decently consistent home care means going to the dentist isn't a torture. So I pretty much know right off the bat if a dentist is good or not -- I shouldn't be in severe pain after a cleaning. I'm happy to say this place did the job well. Ahh... This being the second visit had to be the most relaxing cleaning ever. They take their time not rushing making it a smooth cleaning. No pain no pinching and experiencing the craft they practice shows that they love what they do. Teeth feel great. I would recommend them to everyone one and their mothers. NIGHTMARE experience. Wanted 4 porcelain veneers on my front 4 teeth. The whole process is supposed to take less than a month but took almost 4 months. The veneers had to get sent back to the lab multiple times because they were not like the temporaries each time. Finally had the veneers inserted and about 10 months later my gums became red, inflamed and would bleed when flossing. I came back here (after many attempts for them to see me) and was told the dentist who did my veneers had left. THIS OFFICE HAS A LARGE TURNOVER RATE FOR DENTISTS. That in itself says a lot. Dr. Feins told me that my gums were inflamed because I wasn't brushing well enough. That is complete nonsense. I brush and floss 3X per day. After seeing THREE periodontists they all told me that the person who did my veneers violated my biological width. So, now I had to spend thousands of dollars getting crown lengthening surgery AND new porcelain veneers. I've lost thousands of dollars and had nothing but aggravation. Dr. Feins did not want to accept fault. Go anywhere but here. read more

I brought my whole family over to Dr Feins practice only to leave after 2 years when he was never available and had us see his associates. I had a HORRIBLE experience wlth the newest Associate who botched a simple bonding to my tooth and i could not even close my mouth. I called first thing in the morning as a new patient in a lot of pain, and the staff fit me right in. I met Dr Feins and he assessed the problem. He referred me to an endodontist around the corner form his office because although he preforms root canals himself, he thought mine would be a little complicated. By 1:00 I was completely pain free!!! I just moved to this area and am happy to say I've found our new family dentist! What a great experience! It's a shame that this doctor's extremely nasty, money hungry secretary ruins an otherwise wonderful dental experience. Unfortunately, the secretary was so rude and unprofessional that I will not be returning. Dr. Feins is a wonderful and very competent dentist. On the other hand, the woman at the front desk will shake you down for $100 without shame. I have never in my life been to a doctor's office and been shaken down for money on the spot. Normally the balance not paid by insurance comes in the mail after it is submitted. She attacked me and then began to interrogate me about why I can't pay it on the spot. She demanded money on the spot and when I did not have it belittled me in front a whole waiting room full of people.It was disgusting and appalling. I asked her to send the balance in the mail which is not an unreasonable request. This is truly in poor taste and unprofessional on her behalf. If anything the doctor should be concerned about an outstanding balance but this woman became vicious over money and turned me off so much that I will have to find a new dentist. Her demeanor and ridiculous reaction is a poor reflection of this practice. read more
