I figured I was wrong on questioning that, since each number in the scale corresponds to an eighth-inch increase from the last number, but I was right. My hair was definitely cut shorter than 1.5 inches. I guess she figured that an inch and a half meant an inch (an 8) and a half of 1 on the clipper guard scale. Definitely poor quality.
