Wasn't sure what to except since there was only 1 woman working the store but we were the only customers so we got seated pretty quickly. Was nervous at first since she had some difficulty checking us in. Not her fault though since the check-in system was kind of confusing and they were having some internet trouble (the AT&T guy was walking in and out of the store getting things going). During his haircut, she was very calm and cheerful with him. Had some toy dinosaurs he could play with since the TVs/IPads were down due to the internet troubles. He didn't need the electronics and was happy with the toys she let him play with. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we left happy. Will be back when we need to cut his hair again.

When she asked about going short on the sides, I clarified again that I wanted the top left long. The sides were taken much higher than expected, and once she started cutting the top, there was no saving it. The length I had been growing out for a year was gone within seconds. Afterward, she asked, "How does it look?" I said, "I wanted it longer on top." She responded, "Oh, I thought you wanted it as short as possible so I kept going shorter and shorter." That was never communicated. Now I've got an Avatar Aang and not a Saja Boy! Not cool. I understand my toddler was crying and moving, but this was not just a difficult haircut--it was a clear misunderstanding of a very specific request, even with a reference photo. Given the outcome was the opposite of what was requested, I don't feel this service reflects what was agreed upon. I would appreciate the business reaching out to address this.

The lady told me to go to the shampoo bowls. She only put a towel down but didn't put a cape (which I thought was a standard). After the first shampoo I could tell she didn't completely rinse the shampoo out before she started the second shampoo. She did the same type of rinse for the second shampoo. While putting the conditioner in it still sounded like shampoo was in my hair....and it was. And what really takes the cake is when I said I just want it towel dried instead of blow dried...she hands me the towel to dry my own hair.
