They had her to sign a lease agreement for tires and sensors. she would have to pay 27.71 initial payment. Then pay 16.90 plus 77.00 a week for 17 weeks. That meant by time she paid that lease agreement she would have paid a total of 1318.20 for 2 used tires along with the 4 sensors The second day after getting tires she had to air the tire up that was leaking. I checked at Walmart for the same tire brand new you could get 4 for 238 dollars. Also, they had a Nexen brand that RNR express sells for 98 dollars. I believe they took advantage of her because she was young and a girl. I never knew that you could lease tires. I always seen people finance them. I went with her back to the store with her to get matter resolved not knowing she had a lease agreement, thinking they were fiancé. So we were going to pay it off to save interest thinking they were financed. They ask what we wanted to do after I paid it off. I said return it. She went to talk to manager that was there. I asked him how they sold her used tires and sensors for 650 dollars and the fact that tire was leaking air. He stated she sign the paperwork she knew what she was getting. He was question her like she knew what she is signing. I ask him if he wanted someone to do this daughter. He ended up checking the tire and replacing that one with a new one saying I am meeting you halfway. My mistake was paying it off thinking I was saving interest. Had I known it was a lease agreement I could have just given them back the tires and sensors and could have walked away only losing the initial payments. I brought two black (semi-gloss with machined center cutout) TSW roll Forged wheels to this shop…read morewith mild curb rash. The business owner and operator stated the repair would be $200 a wheel. A week + later I got back high gloss black (slight hint of metallic) with the machined portion painted over - not fractionally similar to the original color, shade and gloss level - and obviously a complete mismatch to the other two wheels in the set. I have a total of 8 wheels of that type, and now I have to find a reputable shop that now has to remove the unprofessional job on these wheels and completely refinish them. It was a complete waste of time, both mine and his. Even worse, when I explained the problems with his work, the owner stomped off and angrily slammed my wheels onto a metal mesh shelf (all while his wife cringed and my teenage son witnessing his tantrum). He didn't refinish the wheels even remotely close to their original finish and pitched an unprofessional fit when I explained what was wrong. I was obviously unhappy but didn't yell or lose my temper, and his response was over the top out of control. I took my wheels and left. For note - I used this same company back in 2021 for a different set of TSW wheels and the work he did was actually quite good back then. Not this time - and whatever is going on in his life right now is preventing him from running a professional business. I can't explain how disappointed I am. I don't know what is driving this business owner's behavior, but it isn't good and I would steer clear of his business. I will personally never use his services again. I attached several pictures. The level of gloss is hard to demonstrate in pictures, but to be sure - the work he did wasn't even close to the original finish and would look terrible and mismatched. He ultimately did not charge me - and I would not have paid him for the work. $200 a wheel is a premium price for wheel repair. I could have achieved 90% of the quality with a rattle can - it was most certainly not worth the price he was asking.

I'll probably still get my brakes done, here, but I did not have a good experience this morning…read more first, i was told I needed front and rear brakes done ( which I knew was not true because they did all 4 just a few years back. I kept my paperwork). secondly, I was charged $100 more than I should've been because I knew they covered the pads and calipers for life. when I told the woman at the register, she called the technician and he apologized and took off the $100 from my bill. my point is this: the tech shouldve known about my previous brake jobs and my loyalty to Mac's. but most importantl, if I had not spoken up, Mac's would've ripped me off for $100 and if I had done all 4 sets of brakes it would've been closer to $250!! and I know this, because the woman at the counter was about to ring up my bill and didn't check my past brake jobs, either... I'm not too happy with Mac's. they are usually quite reliable...
