This library has really evolved over the past few years into a true community center. From…read morebeautiful physical space to ongoing events for children and adults, there is always something going on. The current staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Events like Legos, Artists' Guild, Tarot Share, Aromatherapy workshops, musical presentations, fiddle jam, author presentations, and more provide something for everyone, regardless of your interests. The WiFi is great and there is meeting space available if you register in advance. They also sponsor Universal Class online, which includes hundreds of free classes across nearly every hobby interest you can think of. Highly recommend!

Thus, Wells Memorial Library, a fine example of what we once were and a template of hope for what we can aspire to. It's small, elegant, and the librarian appears to be honored just to work there - probably as a volunteer! This is a perfect place to escape a cold winter afternoon and read in a peaceful setting.

The university is the oldest in Vermont and the fifth-oldest in New England. It is among the oldest in the United States and is one of the original eight Public League Universities. My dear friend's daughter is in her senior year. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to our campus visits. It is a beautiful campus to visit and fun activities nearby like the Teddy Bear Factory and Maple Syrup Factory. If you stay near campus at a AirB&B it may be a home with historic charm. Plan your visits because graduation comes around quickly and you want to document your fond memories! The downside is the placement office. Don't expect much assistance finding employment in your chosen field when you graduate! Start planning in advance!

Just the trip TO the school was a beautiful drive, but arriving in Burlington and walking around town was really great. We did do an official tour and the campus itself is beautiful. Our tour guide did an excellent job with our fairly large group and was able to answer all our questions. Dorms were...well they were dorm rooms, but some of the residence halls are actually quite nice. Unfortunately, I don't think this was the right 'fit' for my son so it's unlikely that he will end up here as a student, but it had more to do with the makeup of the academic program he was interested in rather than him not liking the campus. Seriously, this is really a beautiful campus with access to great outdoor activities in all seasons. Reduced price ski trips for students, great activities ON campus, and so much to do in town. Burlington is a great town with LOTS of great places to eat and drink...lots of local brews to enjoy if you are into craft beers as well.

I had enough time that summer to watch the entire series of Sex and the City, and enough time to read about 10 books. As far as I can remember, it was almost always pretty empty and had a decent selection for being pretty small.
