Ok but not great. Closes before 5. Employees aren't very helpful. Signage isn't very descriptive. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

He was friendly and gave us a few ideas where to fish and told us no rush to get back at noon if we wanted to stay out a little longer. We got back about 1230 and friendly dock hands came running out to help us arrive. Boat was pretty clean and ran well - we really can't think of any issues. There were four of us and we all caught fish - bass, bluegill and catfish. The adjacent bar and restaurant next door (Pelican Cove Grill) had live music and was busy and inviting but we had plans so didn't stay. There will be a "next time" for sure!

He literally did that to my girlfriend and I today at about 3:15 outside Pelican Cove Grill.  We parked in a handicap spot, with our handicap tag displayed properly. As we walked in he asked her, "are you going to stay long because that's a handicap spot." I told him to mind his own business, and he lost it. He said that it was "HIS" business (repeating this several times for emphasis despite Pelican not actually being his business). I told him she had Rheumatoid Arthritis and he told me he was getting security. I was too appalled to stay and eat so we left. So big shout out to Dale Shepherd for harassing people who don't look handicapped enough to his liking. Next time we'll bring crutches (provided that's ok with Dale).

They will always call should they run into something additional that you were not expecting. There are very few people I trust with my antique Chris-Craft, but I trust Bluewater Boat Service completely. Their prices are fair, and they always do excellent work. I've had horrible experiences with other places, but I've had nothing but an excellent experiences with Bluewater!

I love this dive shop. They are the only platinum Scubapro dive shop in the Jackson area. The other…read moredive shops in Jackson are good but I really love this one. The service and depth of knowledge they have is deep and transparent. I am a certified rescue diver and am working towards becoming an dive instructor and eventually owning my own dive shop and school one day. As I have spent time researching my gear to purchase they have been so patient and committed to making sure I have the best experience and get exactly what will serve me best throughout my passion and part time career. I research a lot into what I choose and do and I can tell you this shop knows their stuff. I am planning to do everything I do through them. They just make you feel like family and are just so real. Personality is huge in the world of diving. In every stage of life in diving you need to be a down to earth person to be successful. This shop gets it. They are so easy to talk to and learn from and it translates into having an amazing diving experience. I have found the shop I do business with and the shop I want to dive with. If you are new and looking to get started in diving rest assured you found the right shop. They are amazing. They will walk you comfortably through each step to becoming a well trained and confident diver. Plus, scubapro is my favorite manufacturer of dive gear because of how well it's designed, made, and the quality and performance I've grown to demand from my gear. I was on the fence about coming to talk to them after reading one of the comments on this form. The only thing I can think of is that she had a bad day and brought that drama in with her. These people are like family and they are direct and straight with you just like family should be. If you ask them a question they will give you a straight and well researched answer. You get what you give in relationships and a good dive shop is no different. If you give them the respect they deserve as human beings they will absolutely give it back. Diving is about finding the beauty in the world beneath the waves and sharing that experience with others. If you hate the world you most likely won't like divers. We are positive people with optimistic outlooks on life. I hope this helps others in their search for their right diving shop and school. Stay salty.

I am new diver and just started with diving classes here. First they didn't try to oversell me and actually tempered me back from buying essential gear that I either wasn't ready for or didn't need. Second they called and reminded me about online classes twice before the classes started. When I showed up the first day they had four trainers all with different personalities and allowed us to visit and group ourselves with the ones we felt most comfortable. Next they never tried to yodel me and when I wanted to buy my BCD the owner went home and let me use her sons free of charge during my next session and for the open water certification. When I paid for my new gear she told me to wait on the accessories because she wants me to try it in the pool before I spend more money. Also when asking about different computers and regulators she was extremely honest and actually sold me the cheaper older model rather than the new shiny one because they were basically the same. Then came the discounts, you LEO or prior service, discount, you take your classes their and but your gear there discount. You rent tanks and gear then come back and buy your stuff there, discount. I just started scuba but when I go to their shop, I feel more like I am hanging out at my cool cousins house than at a business. Maybe people want Nordstrom's type customer service, but here you might have to wait a few minutes because one of the local divers just got back from a cool trip and is sharing their story. Or maybe someone just started and feels sore because their mask was too tight and is getting some advice. All in all I really enjoy the customer service and it's worth a slight up charge when you know you can always come in and get the help and advice you need.
