The Range is no longer available. I bought a new Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun there. It was priced…read morethe same as any other place in town. The birdshot ammo was priced decently. Some of the ammo for a shotgun such as buckshot and slug seemed overpriced. So, I just went online to buy the rest of my ammo with free shipping. They have a big selection of hunting gear etc. I did not look at it all. It is honestly hard for a small business to compete with retail giants on prices. I expected the clothing etc. to be overpriced so I did not bother even looking at it or cross referencing it with online. Talked to the employee about indoor shooting ranges and the closest is going to be Flowood or Hattiesburg for indoor ranges. Both at least an hour drive depending on where you are coming from and traffic. Not a huge selection of used firearms but they have a variety of firearms. Gave it 3 stars because they closed down the indoor range. It was the only indoor one available in the area. Will I go back? Maybe in a year or two. I am not a big shopper but when I do go shopping, I have no problem dropping a few thousand if I see something I want. Next process for me, is probably buying some land outside of Meridian and setting up my own range. Maybe in the next two years. Until then just a trip once a month to Lowes or Marvins for building projects around the house. Stay Salty!
