I wish to make note of the fine results I am receiving from Jim Moran at three of my locations on Roads End in Boothbay Harbor as well as two other locations on Lakeview Road in Boothbay Harbor and West Shore Road on Barter's Island. Although this summer has been extremely dry, most of my lawn is still nice and green and weed free but showing drought damage where the lawn is covering some ledges beneath the surface, which happens each year. I had a disappointing experience with Turf Doctor. Jim came out in March to give me a quote, and I signed the contract shortly after. I followed up last week to find out when they'd be coming to spray and was told it would be that week. No one showed up, and my calls weren't returned. I was told I'd be put on the schedule ASAP, but a whole week passed with no updates. I even reached out directly to Jim via text to share my frustration and never received a response. I've used Turf Dr for 4 years now and have renewed each year because of the positive improvement of my lawn. My favorite and most frequent tech that applies the treatments is Jim Robertson, who is efficient, knowledgeable, and always willing to listen and explain. Together we have taken my lawn from dandelions, crabgrass and violets and some grass to a beautiful lawn of grass. Nothing sets off house and plantings like a green lawn. My technician, Matt Wilkins, called me on Friday to let me know he would be at my house on the following Monday to aerate, fertilize, and seed my lawn. When he arrived with his helper, James, they let me know they were here and went over what they were going to do, and told me what I needed to do to help the lawn (water). Phil does our pest control inside and outside and is such a nice guy as well as doing a wonderful job! We had a major mouse problem under our house crawl space and garage and he had it under control!
