There is a kiosk to order, but after asking if we could get the sauce on the side, he just rang us up himself. It is surprisingly spacious inside, so we opted to eat there. It was a very hot day, and the gentleman told us it's cooler toward the back; so that's where we sat. The food is made to order, so there was a little bit of a wait, but it was worth it for the hot, fresh, and tasty wings we got! The quality of the chicken itself was outstanding -- crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and nicely seasoned throughout. We enjoyed them with and without the sauces. The Spicy Garlic and Red Hot are both fairly spicy, but not unbearable. They don't have complimentary water, so bring your own or plan to buy a drink if you're dining in. It was pretty quiet while we were there, with a few customers just stopping in for their pickup orders. The same guy helped everyone, and remained friendly and professional. At the sound of the name "Anna" is when the girl who couldn't pry herself away from her tik tok videos turned around and grabbed the order that I had been waiting for and handed it to me then she turned back around to her exact position of back facing the counter and head back in her phone like the zombie that she is. I always want to give this McDonalds a first-round "bye" to give them a leg up, because this…read moreMcDonalds has to deal with a lot of distractions that most McDonalds don't have to worry about...essentially that a lot of homeless people congregate there (because rich Montgomery County has dumped all its social services in Norristown, a few blocks from the McDonalds), and it's open the latest of all businesses. So, when I go to the Norristown McD's, I understand why the bathroom door is locked. I understand why the bathroom has blue lights (so you can't see your veins to shoot up). I understand why I need to keep a separate dollar in its own pocket, in case I need to give it to someone. I understand why most of the employees are exceptionally rude (because God knows what they have to deal with). Etc. I'm not easily horrified. But tonight was the last straw. All the McDonalds in the world offer free refills on soda, but this one has stopped. (They used to let you have one refill, which was already stingy for McD's.) Refills are now full price. When I asked if I could at least get ice, I was told that ice is $0.53. Really? Anyway, I can still use this McDonalds for the drive-through, if I have to be out and about. But I'm never going inside again unless I'm packin' my own soda and my own ice.
