We had a fantastic experience here. The kids got bento-style lunch boxes (with chicken, dumplings, a green salad, spring rolls and rice) which were well-prepared, generously-portioned and delicious. I was passing through. I saw this place nearby when looking for a quick late lunch. Being a lover of Korean fried chicken I gave this a shot. It was just ok. What I got was decent. But it didn't have the true crisp that Korean fried chicken has. The skin actually came out slightly more chewy than crispy. And the flavor just wasn't quite there for me. I loved the detailed explanation we got on the different sauces, sizes and serving recommendations, as well as the basic details on the non-chicken options. Beyond the excellent customer service, we loved every bite of what we got. We tried Kang Nam Chicken (regular), Fried Dumplings w/Honey Garlic sauce, Sweet & Hot Spring Rolls, a Beef Cup Bob, and even some Kimchi. Had to take it to go in a box and while I was tempted to try it right away I waited for the 20 min ride back home. It was still crispy and delicious. Friendly service. Wish they had some tables so that one could enjoy the chicken fresh and hot. I had a craving for Korean wings and decided to give this place a try. We ordered over 20 wings and they were not that good. The wings were heavily breaded and seemed over-fried. Some pieces were a bit hard and the skin was hardened. The Kang Nam Special was a bit salty. Also, the wings were really huge and one was oddly shaped. We couldn't identify what part of the chicken it might be. It looked like a star fish. I don't think I will order again. read more

We bought the spicy chicken and it really wasn't that spicy. I'd give it a 3 in spiciness on a scale of 1 to 10. It was more smothered in Korean pepper paste and made the chicken soggy. The chicken itself was flavorless and the sauce didn't help so I think it was just a bad combination. Our family eats fried chicken once a week and have tried many different places.... For the money , (15$ for 8/9 pieces?) Popeyes would be a better option! I guess I was expecting something similar to Wings to Go, a vinegary spicy taste so the Korean pepper paste which is more dense was unexpected. I received four pieces of chicken for $10. It's available for a limited time. I enjoy the double-fried chicken. I received all flats which I prefer, and they were all a decent size. I could not distinguish between the flavors, but I liked the Spicy Chicken one the most. CALL YOUR ORDER IN! It takes 30 to 40 minutes after you place your order. Kang Nam opened up a while ago and we have always been hesitant to stop because we have become snobby with our wings since we tried a chicken spot in Philly. Anyways, we tried their sweet & hot along with their crazy hot spicy. The sweet and hot were really good and the crazy hot spicy was - you guessed it, super spicy. At the time of writing this, it was 14.99 for a 10 piece of wings. Wing prices all over are super high but this was pretty reasonable considering these wings were massive. These wings were at least double if not triple the size of your traditional wings you would get at a sports bar. 10/10 recommend their wings. They also have some desserts in the fridge, but we didn't happen to get any at this time. Their fridge is packed with a wide variety of drinks. Not just your traditional soft drinks - they had things like Red Bull, Mexican Coca-Cola, Mexican Fanta, etc etc (things you don't normally find at take out places). The person who took my phone order was the same person who greeted us when we walked in. He was really nice and courteous which we can appreciate. Overall, this place is pretty good. Large has 10 pieces, regular has 5, I recall. Onions rings were better than fries but a satisfying meal when you're looking for something different than your usual KFC or Popeyes. It is a bit overpriced at $14~15 for the regular with probably 8 pieces (2-3 drumstick and 6 wings). The chicken was juicy tho and tender. I also tried the sweet fries. Absolutely one of the best chicken dinners I ever had. First time here and I got the honey garlic and my wife got Kang Nam sauce. Both incredible and juicy. Super nice owner gave us a sampling of the sauces. The coating melts in your mouth unlike others that almost break your teeth. I was upset when all the KFC places closed down. Not anymore. I went there as few of my friends told me how good they were and they did not disappoint. Fried wings were so juicy and flavorful. Chicken was tasty, however too expensive and the website doesn't specify the number of pieces in a small or large order. We went in person and were told by the counter person the small includes six pieces. This was technically true. There were six pieces (if you consider the drum portion of a wing one and flat portion of a chicken wing number two. There were 3 thighs included (tiniest I have ever seen and that is my favorite piece so I would know) and one drum. The drum was a healthy size. All in all unremarkable, except for the fact that it was pricey for what one gets. We will never spend our $$ there again, we will stick to Royal Farms or make our own. read more

WOW!!! Absolutely amazed at this new chicken place. I got the chicken sandwich with honey mustard sauce. The chicken was the perfect amount of juicy and crunchy.
