AT LEAST once a week there's an arbitrary closure and I have to be safe time driving down to Sheetz for coffee. When it is not closed, it's like a homeless shelter in and around the store - which could be intimidating to some customers. Maureen is fine, but still is guilty of random closing, but the guy that works when she is out is rude and seems like he's out of it most of the time. One time he came to unlock the store looking like he was high (not just weed high), and another time he was locked inside with a seemingly homeless woman. Outside of the morning situation, the store is constantly filthy and always out of stock of common items. I have voiced my concerns before and this morning again I lost time driving to Sheetz, so I will not gamble any more. It is clear that Speedway doesn't care about its patrons, so I'm sure their life will go on just fine.

But once you get on it, there's actually plenty of room to get to the pumps, and plenty of parking otherwise. Price was the lowest in this area, and amongst the lowest in town. You had to go inside to pay, which is unusual and a little annoying. But it worked fine, since they weren't busy. The inside seemed pretty empty at least near the entrance, but I think there were some convenience items back to the right. Clerk was friendly. It's the first time I've been to a GetGo gas station and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There aren't any gimmicks here, no super fancy diner, no real restaurants attached to it. There is absolutely nothing making this Gas Station any better than most standard Gas Stations out there, only there is. When you can excel in customer service, you've absolutely won the game. Two of the nicest, and quickest staff members I've ever come across at gas station. I can't remember the exact name of the gentleman that rung me out, but he was a baller. He sparked a conversation with me and made me feel welcome, like he wanted me there. Wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there, the feeling I typically arrive to when I'm at any gas station. He was more than willing to treat me like a person, bravo. On another bright side, they were very well stocked, and I think that goes still with the two employees I saw working there. They had the Deli food stocked to a tee and I felt like I had some real choice in what to eat, which is great. I wont highlight the food too much, it was decent but the overall experience and the people they have working there make this a 5 star experience. I'm here to highlight those great customer oriented employees I come across. Keep up the work, don't lose the magic.

In spite of taking a long time to get it ready, my most recent shake had full sized, unblended peach slices at the bottom of the cup, and I'm pretty sure a full unblended scoop that I had to keep poking at with the straw. It still tasted good, but wasn't done well. The location seems clean enough, but their customer service is, again, just OK.

She listened to the story and when I asked for her preference, she answered without pause "caramel cone" and whipped me up a sundae that's her favorite- and paid for it herself "because it's your first time!"
