A solid place for this cuisine. With a branch opening up near downtown I feel this will become a regular spot for moi. We order a couple of dips, meat platter for 2 and a Pide for good measure and 4 of us had enough food. I especially enjoyed the kebabs as they are done very well. Pide was really good as well. Lots of parking, gorgeous restaurant, clean and friendly service:) Not very many vegan options, I ordered the eggplant appetizer and fries. Eggplant is a must try! They also serve appetizers before your meal, Turkish bread, a tomato salsa kind of dip and a yogurt dip. Everyone else loved their kebab meals and all had a beautiful presentation. Tea was served on the house as well. They don't take reservations and they are super busy. read more

I heard so much about this place I had to try it!. The place was packed but luckily, we were seated immediately. The service was excellent & the food came super fast. When you first sit they serve you 2 kinds of dips with fresh bread, all was delicious. I ordered the following Hummus (it was good) $8.99 Nurdagi salad: tomatoes, cucumber, (loved it) $10.99 Mixes grill for 2 which included: $74.99 1 skewer Adana Kebab, 6 pieces chicken shish, 6 pieces beef shish, 6 chicken wings, doner kebab & bulghur. (everything on the plate was amazing except for doner kebab, I didn't like it's flavor). The portion is generous. We ended our meal with Baklava ($9.99) which unfortunately was very disappointing. Tea ($1.99) was good, Turkish coffee ($3.99) was OK. Overall it was a nice experience. If I go again I will pick specific plates I won't go for the mixed grill. If you're in the Kanata area and looking for a Turkish restaurant, look no further than Turkish Kebab House! After hearing about it from a Turkish acquaintance, I decided to try it out and was blown away by the deliciousness of the food. First off, I was impressed to learn that they cook on charcoal and bake their bread in house. It's clear that they take pride in the quality of their food, and it shows in every dish. I ordered the platter for two and was shocked to find that it could easily feed four people. It came with an assortment of every kind of kebab, barley cooked in some kind of tomato broth (which was incredibly flavorful), doner meat, chicken wings, and came with yoghurt sauce and what I think might be Muhammara. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Each type of kebab had its own unique flavor, and everything was delicious. To top it off, the staff also gave me a free rice pudding to try, which was absolutely divine. It had a caramelized crust on the top from being baked in the oven, and the creamy texture and perfect sweetness made it the perfect end to a wonderful meal. At around $91 with tax and tip, I initially thought it was on the expensive side, but after seeing how much food was in it, it was totally worth it. If you love carbs like rice, potatoes and lots of fresh bread...along with flavourful meats..then you are in luck. But is If you are looking for a balanced meal with vegetables included done in a special way, then go somewhere else.... Essentially there were no vegetables with any of the plates that I could see. Didn't get the time to sit in but the chicken sish was fantastic and a large portion. They offered up tea or coffee while we waited for our takeout. We would totally return again, just without our resident celiac since it would be a shame to eat the fantastic bread in front of him. read more

The best Turkish food you can eat in Canada! The taste is amazing, it feels like you are dining in İstanbul. The portions are really filling. The service is really quick and always smiling faces. I strongly recommend any form of Döner, Sarma Beyti Kebab and the Lahmacun. read more

I have been here three or four times now. Every single time it gets better. Don't get me wrong - it was already an 8/10 the first time my family and I went (first week they opened, we knew that some things weren't going to be perfect, so it was a great experience). But now, it is an incredible thing to see improvements in service, quickness and somehow the taste of the food gets better EVERY SINGLE TIME. You get treated like royalty when you enter, and I truly mean that. Servers are attentive but not in an annoying way and they make you feel very looked after. Once again, the food is incredible and so authentic. I have been to Turkey, and I loved the food there but dare I say, the food here is somehow much better. It is so authentic tasting and they never miss. This restaurant has become my family's go-to restaurant because we are always pleased.
