I hired Huff Digitals to redesign and host the website for my law firm. The project was delayed by several months beyond the promised timeline. After the website finally went live, Huff Digitals contacted me claiming that the site was "not ADA compliant" and demanded an additional $1,920 to "fix" the issue -- something that was never disclosed or discussed during the contract process. When I refused to pay the new, unexpected charge, my website was disabled and replaced with a false notice alleging that it had been taken offline due to WCAG non-compliance, citing the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). After contacting the W3C directly, I confirmed they do not take enforcement action against websites -- meaning the notice Huff Digitals placed was fabricated to pressure payment. This experience has been extremely disappointing and disruptive to my business. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, and other consumer protection agencies.

The final straw was when they told me that my website was not ADA compliant and that I was at risk of being shut down if I didn't pay them a few thousand dollars to fix it. I told them that was BS and I declined that service. They kept pressuring me until I told them to stop calling me about it. My website then suddenly started having issues with the contact fields not working, which they told me they could fix...for a hefty fee. I declined their services and fixed it myself via wordpress. Several months later, and my website is listed as "suspended" and the company phone number is disconnected. No one responds to my emails. Do not give these foreigners your money, they are scammers.
