This place is an absolute hot mess! The manager of this place is the most unprofessional, vile person I have ever met, she writes her own reviews on every site and also pays her employees to write them as well! The counselors there are not licensed, and they're all ex-addicts themselves! I have taken 26-week class there and everyday that I went there it was nothing but problems, chaotic mess, the staff and interns not entering my classes correctly when I did and pay for more classes they said their computers were messing up and they had no record of me coming there even though I had the receipts, they made me pay for more class classes and would not give me my certificate and argued with me .This place is all about money, and supporting their own habits if you know what I mean! They are not there to help others they're there to bring them down I did not learn anything from my classes all we did was play games, and charades and build kindergarten projects out of spaghetti and marshmallows, seriously! There is no structure, no curriculum no counseling it's just a bunch of us getting together talking about our lives, and the counselors talkin about the employees and managers and how bad the place is, no joke I was appalled! I'm so glad I do not have to go there anymore, even though I paid for for more additional classes then I should have cuz they could not set the record straight! I really think this place is a scam and I have reported them to investigate the credentials There is an on going investigation into this business So I've been told before I left in September! STAY-AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! This is a very rundown place, and so are the staff that work there. I have witnessed the staff yelling at patients, I myself ,and at least 4 other people that I have talked to there have said that TYLA has lost their payments an have not giving them their certificates because of this problem, even though the classes were completed. Only because a few of the clients were able to vouch for me being there in the classes,, then I was finally able to get it , "what an ordeal""!! Still having more classes to complete, and based on my own experience and the account of others, I left to seek help elsewhere, my sobriety is to be taken serious by serious people, and not to be left in the hands of unprofessionals. This place is a absolute nightmare, almost every employee, intern, client has quit and walked out because of the owner! She treats everybody with such disrespect and yells and expects everybody to jump at the snap of her finger and if you don't there is hell to pay! Walking out was the best thing I have ever done, I should have listened 2 everybody there when I first started, now it all makes sense and it is all coming together! I have been in behavioral health for over 18 years, I know everything about mental health and how to treat clients and employees in an appropriate manner. This place is not a good place at all to go to, they were rude and rushed through all the paper work and did not explain anything to me, I had several questions that those ladies wouldnt answer, or couldnt answer...and It was exspensive, they showed no professionalism, or customer service.They seemed angry and was very rushed ,and it was kaotic, and took over 2.5 hours for me to get through my appointment.DO NOT RECOMMEND!
