Our neighbor's tree limbs were growing over into our backyard and right above our electrical lines. After extensive Yelp research, we found Turnbull's Tree service. We called them and they came out pretty quickly to assess the tree to give us a quote. On the day they came to cut the tree down, we asked them if they could give us a quote on another neighbor's tree and trimming the limbs off that tree as well. The owner was on site and immediately gave us a quote and he and his team immediately trimmed those tree limbs as well. They do awesome work. My mom has needed an old dead evergreen tree taken out and they called this morning and they were so quick and efficient at getting this tree down it amazed me. They've been here before and they always treat my mom and dad so very good. They had a pretty good team out here today and they all worked great as a team and cleaned up everything; plus mom had the stump grinded out. Last week (Thursday, 1 August) after the BIG BLOW here on the Southside, a huge limb from a walnut tree crushed my chain link fence. I called Turnbull's Tree Service that morning. Kevin was here within hours. The next day (Friday) Jake, Steven and Troy were here and removed the limb and all the debris in a very short time at a very reasonable price. I wanted some limbs trimmed back from my neighbor's tree as they were rubbing against the power line entering my house. I requested a quote on Saturday and received a quick response letting me know they would stop by on Monday morning. They stopped, and they went to the neighbor's first to get their permission to cut on their tree. After permission was given, they spoke with me in regards to what was needed. I explained what I wanted and they gave me a very reasonable quote. They stated they were in the neighborhood and, weather permitting, they would be back in the afternoon. They showed up in the afternoon, explained what they would do, and started working. Part way through the project they came to the door to show me the progress and see if they were addressing what was needed. Once they were finished they raked the yard thoroughly, cleaned up the driveway, & the street. These guys were awesome! They gave us a lower quote than anyone else in the area. Not only were they reasonably priced, but they were very prompt as well. They said we were 3 weeks out but came out the same week to do the job. They did an excellent job cleaning up our yard after they were finished and were very respectful of our other features on our property. Hired to remove a tree just on the other side of a chainlink fence. Tree was cut down for a great price, but 20 percent of the pieces were just left. Two sections of the fence were also destroyed. All I asked for was a toprail and I would fix the rest, Kevin agreed but then never brought it out and stopped responding. read more
