I used this pharmacy for some years and found that consistently:…read more - Some of the staff can be rude and abrasive with no provocation whatsoever, it seems like they're just having a bad day and take it out on the nearest customer. - They make mistakes in filling (or not filling) prescriptions, like the details of the medication type in the prescription or how much you need to order at one time. - If they make a mistake and you politely and reasonably point it out and ask them to correct it, they get defensive and blame either you or the doctor's office when clearly neither are to blame. - Once they ordered several boxes of medication when the doctor faxed through a request for one box. When I explained I only needed one box, they said that it couldn't be sent back now, and that insurance was paying for it anyway so I shouldn't complain. The medication itself expired before I could use it all. I find this especially repulsive as there have been shortages for some medications during COVID and someone else might have needed it. - I've since moved to another pharmacy and haven't experienced any of these problems, while still ordering the same medications and visiting the same doctor's office. Submitting this review with an obviously fake name. It seems like the owner likes to read through negative google reviews and pull people's records based on their name, then tell them they haven't visited recently or throw around words like 'allegations'.

Shoppers made many errors on our paperwork: They dated the negative covid tests document December 18 They inserted the wrong number for Beverly's Health Card They inserted her birthdate incorrectly. We went back and had the birthdate and health card corrected - but focusing on that....we never realized they dated the document December 18. On Dec 20 we arrives at the airport in London 3 hours in advance, only to be turned away ....as the date of Dec 18 was incorrect. We then had to change our flights for Dec 21, go home and go to shoppers and have them correct their error so we could fly Dec 21, 2022. We paid for a cab to he airport and back on Dec 20 - $ 18.00 both ways, lost a day of pre-paid rental in our Florida Condo and were extremely disappointed with a terrible start to a long awaited vacation. As a result, loaner chairs are also in extremely low supply. Mary at Dura Med had none, could find none, and worked far into the night calling in favours to work a miracle. They will order anything in the Home Hardware catalogue they they don't carry in-store. It usually takes less than a week for special orders to arrive. Prices are reasonable.

I cannot remember a time when they ever didn't have what I was looking for. That being said, I suspect their prices are slightly higher than the big box stores and the selection is clearly smaller. They have one or two options for each item - not twenty or thirty. I honestly don't mind spending an extra buck or two and most the items I'm looking for are relatively small items. Of course, in any Home Hardware carries it they will apparently have it shipped their for you. All that being said, the staff here are super friendly and it has a real friendly vibe. Staff are talking to each other, chatting with customers who are chatting with each other. It's great. They have a garden centre when the season is right and lots of stuff out on the sidewalk to catch the interest of the many people walking by. In closing, they're ideally located with in the heart of Old South and I hope they always be. I'll make a point to continue shopping there whenever I am in the area to ensure that happens.
