I was a Turner Pest Control customer for 11 years. I have now canceled all services -- pest control included -- and this is why. On March 30th, a technician performed a granular fertilizer application on my entire lawn (or so they said they did). Their own inspection report (Invoice #A621944902) documents Time In: 1:40 PM, Time Out: 1:47 PM -- a 7-minute job. The result was uneven, striped fertilizer coverage across my lawn. See my photos. I reported the issue. A return visit was scheduled for April 30th. No one showed, and no one called. When I followed up this week, I was told a manager would contact me upon arrival. A technician arrived on May 7th and performed a re-treatment, but no manager appeared, and no one addressed the damage or took any accountability. Their pest control service is competent. But this company wasted my time, damaged my yard, and never took responsibility. I shouldn't have to fight this hard for a service I'm paying for. I would not recommend Turner's lawn care program, and I no longer trust them with any of my services. read more

Justin Kovalsky was our inspector for our termite contract. He was on-time and very professional and courteous. Normally the inspection takes about 15 minutes but Justin checked the attic which I've never seen before in 20 plus years of having a termite contract. He replaced the bait in all the traps. As a bonus he guided my 5 year old around so she could " help with the inspection ". He was very kind to my daughter. He was very knowledgeable. Twenty years of different inspectors every year and he is the first one that was memorable for his overall representation of the company. They've been visiting our residence on rainy days. Multiple times- whether this is for Lawn, for Pest control etc... This has happened multiple times that I question if it is still a good idea to keep the bundle. I asked to cancel the service and was informed that I would have to pay $300 even though I was not satisfied with their service and their lack of an adequate plan to fix the issue. On 3/25/25 I paid Turner up front for an annual contract for my lawn maintenance after sodding my lawn with Zoysia grass. Turner came out and spot treated the front lawn for weeds resulting in several brown areas a couple days after treatment. I reported to the supervisor. I was assured it would not happen again. On 5/13/25 the technician came out and treated the back yard. Within a few days after treatment, I had many large brown dead looking areas. Prior to treatment my lawn was lush and green. I was told by Turner it was fungus. I had two other lawn professionals tell me that the brown/dead spots were not due to fungus, that they appeared to be caused by a chemical application and that there were no signs of fungus on my lawn. I canceled my contract with Turner and requested a full refund as the two treatments severely damaged my lawn. However, they did not refund full amount so basically, they charged me to kill my new zoysia sod. I would definitely not recommend this company for lawn care services for zoysia lawns. read more

Save yourself the disappointment. Techs don't show up, don't call, and when you call them, they push it off until the "next" visit. We had more ants, wasp nests, and more weeds after one year than when we hired them. No shows and ineffective, incomplete treatments are typical. They have done an amazing job keeping out the insects/pests and keeping my lawn and shrubs looking great. House & grass were new late 2023 and they killed my grass. One person says it's over watered and another says it's under watered. Which is it ??? Weeds are EVERYWHERE !! I called to speak to a supervisor and told him my concerns and he couldn't care less. Cancelled service and still had to pay for 2 months ahead of time that I won't be using. Complete rip off. We have since dropped our contract with Turner but when we had them, it was a constant nightmare. We have a brand new house so we try to keep it in top shape. We have basically 5 complaints. 1. Their service guy sprayed one side of our house on a very windy day and got spray on the windows on that side, so now they have a cloudy film over them that even our professional window washer can't get off. 2. They treated our yard with pellet fertilizer and never swept the concrete driveway so we have marks in the concrete where all the pellets layed. 3. They never return phone calls or follow up with the service manager. The only way we got a call within 20 minutes was to write a complaint to BBB. 4. The service rep we had was belligerent with my husband and even swore at him. That guy is still employed and no one ever apologized to us. He has a very bad attitude. Very argumentative and rude. 5. Our immediate neighbors still have Turner and their lawn is full of bugs and all turning brown and it is close to coming onto our property just as it did last year. They should be ashamed to service that lawn and put up their sign. We would never recommend this company and their fees are high on top of it. read more

Unbelievably unprofessional. I needed a company who would treat wood termites and issue a bond. I was told in no uncertain terms that they could. They needed to have an inspection to provide a quote and the closest appointment was 4 days out, but they could remediate within 24-48 hours. This was important because it needed to be completed to close on a house on time. 4 days passed. The inspector called me at 2:15pm regarding our 2:30pm appointment and said he had to push it to 4:00pm. I was irritated, but said I would be back at 4:00pm. During that call, I confirmed with the inspector that I needed a spot treatment and a bond. No show at 4:00pm. I called and texted. I got a call at 4:40pm saying he would be there at 5:00pm and that he was on his way. I waited. When he arrived at 5:00pm, he informed me that they do not issue termite bonds for wood termites. In disbelief, I reminded him that this is what I had been promised when I booked the appointment. He shook his head and said "Customer service" as if this was a common problem. "I'm sorry they told you that." he said, forgetting that I had told him what I expected when he called to push our 2:30pm meeting. I called the home office to complain, but it was after 5pm. The receptionist was able to reach one of the higher level managers and assure me that he would call me back. I am still waiting. Recently I had an issue with rats in my attic. Alisa had wonderful customer service and was kind and helpful over the phone. They bill you every month but only come every other month. Also, when you cancel they continue to bill you but suspend your service until you pay up and threaten to send you to collections. DO NOT care about billing request they bill when they feel like it. Then had the nerve to demand payment when they were already paid . Took 5 phone calls and a fax and certified letter for them to correct there records. Do not recommend this company. read more

They broke several lights in front of my home, took a shepherd's hook with a wind chime and also just threw it in my yard never reinstalled it, screwed up my billing and when I called with these concerns well over two weeks ago I still haven't received an answer. read more

I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone, and had proof of my cancellation, still refused to delete the fraudulent invoice for after my cancellation and SENT me to collections. I have been paying Turner for 2yrs now. I pay for their termite bond, pest control and lawn care. Granted, my yard has Bahia grass so I know it's garbage to begin with. But, I have been paying them to control the weeds in my yard. My yard now has more weeds in it than what it did before I started with them. I have called a couple of times to complain about it. They sent someone out to re-spray the yard. Even after that the yard was FULL of green, healthy weeds. I am not happy with their services and would not recommend them. I had use this company for a few years with no major issues. until recently I had to move and they needed to come pick up the termite equipment. The guy scheduled a date to pick up the equipment, which happened to be the same day my movers were coming, but Turner Pest guy came to my door telling me he's there to pick up the equipment. I told him it was in the garage and then I never saw him again until a week later I'm getting a bill saying I owe them over $200 for this equipment because the tech did not notate that he picked the equipment up from my house even though I verbally spoke with the guy. I've called and spoke to them multiple times explaining the situation and they're still trying to say I owe them over $200 for equipment that I no longer have and their tech picked up. I would not recommend them they're dishonest and only out for the money and I will not be using their services with my new house. read more

I have stupidly been with Turner Pest Control for about 2 yrs and finally decided to cancel. Like other reviewers have said, they don't physically pick the phone up. If you're in need of immediate service, you have to leave a message and hope someone gets back to you. My husband called a week ago bc we had cockroaches in our garage. They literally call you back once and if you don't pick up, you have to try again. Then you sit there hoping someone calls the next day bc they never call again the same day. It's a week later and he is just now getting ahold of someone. Obviously our bug issue wasn't a concern to them. So, instead of asking for service, we decided to cancel. For a business to not pick up the phone on a daily basis, is a horrible way to provide good customer service. We also had our lawn service through them. It looks worse then it did two years ago. Tons of weeds, dead spots..you name it. Of course they claimed it would look better when they got done with it. Give it some time they said. Yeah two years later it still looks horrendous.
