That's robbery. when I got it back they put it on the counter and had not even cleaned it. they told me to take it somewhere else to get it polished. They didn't have it in a bag or anything. First few times there were great. I left my great grandmother's gold bracelet to have the clasp replaced and I picked up the bracelet he put it on for me I looked at it in a couple of days and the clasp was not closing as before replacing. The gentleman said this clasp is not gold!! I said well it should be for 225.00 he said when was this done and I gave him the receipt and he had an attitude and I said this is bullshit!!! Do they not check their work before calling customer to pick up? I said you should have pictures of before and after repairs! I told my husband that this is going to get ugly because of his attitude to me making me feel that I was at fault and lying about the repair so then he flew around the counter and said I should not come in his place of business and cuss!!! If his attitude caused me to say bullshit then it was his fault not mine at their prices I would express better customer service. He showed have looked up the information before making me feel like I was lying. He said with an attitude do you want a refund? I said yes as I am not happy with the way I have been treated. I got a pair of $100 earrings for Christmas. I didn't care for them, so I took them back with the receipt. I was told there would be no refunds. I looked for something that was in the $100 price range, but found nothing. I've been back twice since then and I hear the story about the owner's just coming back from a jewelry show and that inventory would be better when I made another visit. The last time I was there I picked a pair (not my favorite, but I'm ready for this ordeal to be over with). The total of the earrings left a $10 balance. They would not give me the $10 refund. There is almost nothing in this store that cost under $100, so that $10 credit is doing me no good. Go to a store where you can return an item if not fully satisfied. read more

I ordered a bezel for a small gold coin, when it arrived it did not fit. The screw would not connect at the top. They worked on it for 30 minutes. Instead of telling me there was a manufacturing issue the "Team" tried to explain how they could weld it and buff it so it would fit just fine. If I wanted to take the coin out they said I would have to cut it. I asked if it was correct and the answer was, "they are all tight". I asked again and they explained how they would fix it. I asked if there was a manufacturing issue and they finally said that there was. I asked for a full refund and they agreed. I will not be returning. Why won't people just tell the truth? read more

Do not purchase from this store. I took my wedding set that was purchased from Turners just over 2 years ago for apx 9000.00 to get appraisal papers to sell. Rather than appraise my jewelry or just give me the original paperwork, they offered to buy it back from me for 250.00. When I declined, they offered to appraise it if I left it there. They don't care about offering quality products and service to their customers, they are crooks who take advantage of people to make profit. I highly recommend you go elsewhere read more

The poorest of customer service. Having a choice of which jeweler to buy jewelry, we chose this establishment...NEVER AGAIN. This jeweler takes their business for granted, and doesn't feel any customer service is owed to those paying their bills thru buying of their prodcut. They were weeks past due on a committed delivery date, NO store calls or follow up status. WE had to do the initiating of status. We asked why they do not initiate calls to the customer on delivery status, no response. Asked if they can explain why so late, no response. VERY POOR customer service, and store support. Weeks with no response from this jeweler. If we did not call and push for the delays, they could have been additional months behind schedule, with no updates. Will certainly take our business else where, as well as numbers of friends in the Seneca SC area. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not EVER buy jewelry here, especially an engagement ring!!!!!! We have had a terrible experience since buy the ring about 11 months ago!! To start off, they gave my then boyfriend the WRONG RING!!!! They let him walk out of the store with a cheaper ring than the one he had paid for. After proposing, we noticed the gold type was not right and brought it back. It took a few weeks and they finally gave us the right ring. After 3 weeks of having the ring, the first diamond fell out. They fixed the ring, but since then, 2 more diamonds have fallen out. When my fiancé brought the ring to them to be fixed, the manager tried to blame me for wearing the ring too much and being too rough with it (mind you, I don't wear my ring to work because I am afraid it will get damaged). We brought it to another jeweler who said the craftsmanship on this ring was terrible and it would not have passed their store's quality control. Each time we have return to Turners they have been rude. We filed a complaint with the better business bureau about a month ago, and surprise, have heard nothing back from Turners. With about a month and a half till the wedding and a diamond currently missing, I am EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed in this business. Warning....Do not trust Turner's with any repairs. My experience with them has been a complete nightmare. They have made not one but three major mistakes on my 1940s antique wedding ring set. They were given my Lady America set to size and solder. 1. My first pick-up I realized that my set had been soldered upside down. My set has "Lady America" engraved on the inside next to the 14K. When I put the wedding band on closest to my heart, the engraving was upside down. I was going to get a second opinion because Turners told my husband that if they fixed it the ring may be compromised. 2. I took my ring off to move a washer 3 weeks after it was soldered. I did not want to damage it. After moving the washer, I picked it back up, recognized in horror that the solder was severely compromised, and the engagement ring was about to break. The entire ring had shifted, and the engagement ring was now an oval shape. Just taking the ring off caused the shank to stretch and thin to the point of almost completely severing it from the band. 3. I reluctantly returned it to be repaired after being reassured by my mother in law (who has done business there for many years) that they would make it right. I went to pick it up and once again discovered that they did not fix it. It was not round. One side was squished together and the other side had a huge gap in the front where the diamonds from both rings touch. The shank on the back was thinned out. My husband asked them to please fix it as I had to walk out at that point because I was so upset. Mr. Turner took my ring into the back room where the jeweler tried to make it round. Mr. Turner gave it back to my husband and it still was not right. Two more times my husband asked them to fix it, and each time Mr. Turner walked back to give it to the jeweler to fix it. My husband eventually had to walk out without any resolution. Not even a refund. Needless to say my set will never be the same. I am beyond devastated. The whole situation makes me ill. I recently took it to Hales. I was given a quote of $800 to $1000 to repair some of the damage, but was told it would never be the same. We bought the set for $800, and I was ecstatic to wear an antique ring that had history. Now it sits in my drawer because we are unable to afford to get it repaired. My wife and I have used Turner's for years. Most recently I asked them to have a pink sapphire engagement ring made for my wife for our 20th anniversary. Turners helped me to pick out the perfect setting and even had some different sapphires brought in so that I could pick the perfect one that I wanted to put into the setting. The prices were very reasonable and they were so helpful in getting me exactly what I wanted in the price range I wanted. I would highly recommend them for your jewelry needs. read more

Truly horrible service, with lies to boot. Not only did they charge my Father over $500 to NOT fix his Rolex, my Father felt loyalty as a hometown boy to give them another shot to repair it again. After sitting on his timepiece for several months, Saturday they charged him $700 to replace a main spring and some gaskets. They did not wind the timepiece to ensure functionality. They had no record of what they actually did to the Rolex and I foolishly handed over the credit card and the lady ran it before she told us what the bill was. Then she had the audacity to claim that my Father VERBALLY authorized the extravagant repair, but could not tell me who took/made the phone call, when it occurred and whether or not it was my Father they claim to have spoken with. IMO, Turners stole $1200 from my Father and if it stops running again they will be seeing us in Small Claims Court. Feel free to learn from this lesson that some items should be handled by authorized dealers only. read more

The first time I visited was several years ago. They did not have what I was looking for but the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Through the years I've taken several repairs to them and been pleased with the results. Not this time. I brought in a chain that had lost the jump ring used to clasp it closed and asked for a replacement. When I picked it up a week later it turns out their repair "professional" had opened up the other side of the clasp and inserted a jump ring between the chain and the clasp itself. No idea why; it was not what I asked for, was not functional, and in fact served no purpose except to weaken the chain. When I pointed out this mistake, they rather dismissively told me that if I wanted another change (in other words, if I wanted them to do the job I had asked for) it would cost me another $20. Any respectable jeweler would be embarrassed to have produced this mess much less expect to be paid for correcting it. In any case I did not want to leave the chain with them again so I went home, opened up my computer, and found a replacement chain for far less than $20. This is the kind of experience that encourages people to buy online rather than from local shops. I don't know if they have a new repairman or a new attitude toward customers, or if they've just given up. But from now on I won't be wasting my time with them -- I'll simply buy a replacement. They are crooks!!! Plain and simple. I never thought I would be the "crazy lady" writing ranting reviews but I had to tell everyone about this. Went to set my ring there (brought diamond and ring setting seperate, both certified and appraised), a week later one of my prongs "turns" gold. Turns out they had no only broken off one of my white gold prongs, but had replaced it with a yellow gold one (Which was also cracked!) and then tried to cover it up rhodium plating. To add insult to injury, they also refused to admit they had any part it in and told me to contact the manufacturer..... yes because a ring manufacturer would make an entire white gold ring with one random gold prong?! They then tried to make up other excuses for the crack in the prong insisting that it was a "bubble" that made a perfectly symettrical burn mark line/crack across the prong. They then told me I could PAY EVEN MORE than I had already paid to them the first time to get it fixed and refused to admit what they did! I went to three other jewelers before I went back to turners to complain, all of them insisted that whoever set my ring soldered off the original and then tried to fix it with a yellow gold prong. They are a terrible business and liars at that. read more
