Turning Point Chiropractic is as good as they get. I am an Ex Wall-Streeter who is now involved with athletes (Jockeys) in the thoroughbred industry. Between the tension of both careers, I have suffered extensively from back and neck issues. I have seen the finest doctors in Chiropractic care and sports medicine and fell upon Turning Point Chiropractic (during the 6 week meet in Saratoga) after calling numerous other facilities that were too busy to take me. I am not one to write reviews and I certainly wouldn't write one unless I felt it was completely warranted but this facility is absolutely worth taking the time to commend. Dr. Adam and Dr. Beth have a nice, fresh approach to chiropractic. They try to stay up to date on scientific research and apply it. I came in having significant problems walking ans sitting and 3 weeks later I am much more comfortable. I'm not, historically, a huge proponent of chiropractic, but Turning Point has really made me much more of a fan. Here's a good example: I'd been sick with congestion and along with my usual adjustment, Dr. Adam adjusted my neck. Within a half hour my symptoms were gone and have not returned. I'm not exaggerating. I've never experienced anything like that!! These folks are kind and compassionate and very reasonably priced (by TX standards). Centrally located in Saratoga Springs by the hospital, they couldn't be much more convenient to people in town. Transit comes by and there is plenty of parking for cars and bikes. I know that Dr. Adam is really skilled with athletes and enjoys keeping runners running, swimmers swimming and skiers skiing. Hobble your way over... you won't be sorry! read more

Adam Favro is an excellent chiropractor, and everything about the experience is positive - doctor, staff, atmosphere..... - Right from the start, you can tell that "Dr. Adam" genuinely cares about his patients, and wants to see them improve. He has a great way about him, and is really easy to work with. Early on, I was able to establish a "partnership" type of relationship, where I felt we were truly working together to get the best possible outcome. - Even from my first phone conversation, setting up my initial appointment, I knew that Tricia would be great to deal with. She's so pleasant and enthusiastic, but also efficient and very sharp. She makes the administrative side of things very smooth and easy, and has a great personality. - The office is very clean and comfortable, and is just a real nice atmosphere. For me, this is not a big consideration, but it is a nice bonus to feel like you're neither in an overly sterile environment, or something that was last updated 50 years ago. - Adam is very knowledgeable, and it is obvious that he puts time into staying current with new developments in his field. In addition to his own knowledge though, he wants to educate his patients. He happily answers all questions, and always explains what he thinks the problem is, and what he is doing to address it. - Adam goes beyond what I would think of as standard chiropractic treatment - and because of his broad knowledge base, he is able to look at a patient's issue from more of a "big picture" perspective, employing various techniques/treatments that might help your specific situation. If appropriate, he uses e-stim and heat immediately prior to treatment, and he seems to have a stretch for just about everything. The stretches he has shown me have allowed me to take an active part in my recovery, and have helped speed my improvement. I know that there are still other treatment options that just weren't appropriate for my needs. I feel like the variety of treatment options that can be used is a huge benefit. - Even with all of his knowledge, Adam is very in tune to staying within his expertise, and bringing in other medical professionals when indicated. After seeing me for about a month, and decreasing my level of pain significantly, progress had pretty much stopped. He was concerned that there might be an underlying disk issue, and felt it was important to get more information before continuing my care. He sent me to my primary care physician in order to get an MRI, which did show significant disk problems. Since then, he has been working in conjunction with my doctors to give me the best result possible, and I am seeing continual improvement. In years past, I had been to a couple of chiropractors for previous problems, and they were ok, but I was really looking for someone exactly like Adam Favro - someone who stays very up to date on emerging treatments and technologies, works WITH the patient to insure the best results, really cares about his patients' well being and will do all he can to get you back on your feet. Dr. Adam is great! Through the years I have gone to a number of chiropractors on rare occasions for neck stiffness. Dr. Adam and his office are very responsive, professional and took their time to explain what was going on with my body and their treatment. I am an active runner and have also used Dr. Adam when I had stiffness in my hip during my last marathon build up. This sort of training was rough on me but his treatment helped me get back on the road faster and safer than past cycles. I came across TPC searching the web for a chiropractor. I have never been to one before (and I'm in my 50's) until I hurt my shoulder/back and it was recommended I see one. I always read the reviews, so this is for those who do as well. Dr. Favro is amazing. He is kind, patient, talks to me not at me, explains things in a way I understand, and endures all my questions. A very HUGE plus for me is that they get you in and out. I have never sat for more than 2 minutes before he called me in and began treatment. By the end of my third visit, I was feeling back to normal, but even after the first visit, I felt much better. I was a mess. This practice is so personable.
